I certainly hope it's not $300! Using existing $300 D2C sets as a base, that would translate to £220-£250, just out of my price range (I've never spent more than £180 on a single set... though I did spend £400 on an MOC once)... but if it's got a large dragon in it, I'll have to get it no matter how much it is. Must maintain my collecton of official LEGO dragons somehow However, I don't see it being more than $200 - Ninjago is primarily a more kid-oriented line than lines that normally get D2C's, and I have a hard time imagining kids pestering parents to buy them the D2C set (and getting their own way) if the price was on par with the most expensive adult-oriented UCS sets LEGO does...
-
Oh my, I completely forgot about the D2C. If that turns out to be a beautifully detailed temple with some interesting figures (it's got to have unique non-human (or human undead or spiritual) villains for me to be fully interested) and loads of recolours, then it's R.I.P. money for me By the way, DraikNova, some D2C's (Mini Cooper for instance) are under $100. But given Destiny's Bounty is more expensive than the cheapest D2C, having the D2C at $100 would be nonsensical, so I agree that the lower bound would be $150. I would bet that it's closer to $200 though, it will probably be significantly more expensive than the typical non-licensed flagship retail set (like in Star Wars, Superheroes and so on)

I decided to treat myself to a 75082 TIE Advanced Prototype, plus found a Protector of Jungle and Protector of Ice for £2.50 each. I couldn't resist, especially when I'm always looking for CCBS parts to build with!

What black spikes on Scorpio? Do you mean the Titanium Metallic appendages? Now I'm thinking about it again, I might be modifying Scorpio to give him poseable legs, so the main bit attracting me to Scorpio (the Titanium Metallic appendages) I might get spares of without buying a double. So I might not need a double of Scorpio after all (his Tr. Neon Green bones also appear in some Ninjago sets so I might grab some off BL). Does Skull Grinder's horns come in any other sets in black by the way? I know I need some extra for an MOC I'm doing, so if they appear in any other sets that would make their availability much better. In fact, I forgot: it's my birthday on the same month the Bionicle sets come out... I might not even need to buy doubles myself after all

I see I was right saying the summer Ninjago sets were out 1st June in the UK. Somehow I knew that would be the case all along, but nice to get some concrete information rather than it being purely based on logic, speculation and incorrect dates displayed at London Toy Fair. Now to decide whether I'm getting Morro Dragon or Destiny's Bounty first. Bye bye money, it was nice knowing you
-
I'm also glad that the Bionicle summer wave is surprisingly affordable - £76.95 in the UK will get you all the wave. At that price, I'm actually thinking of getting some doubles on day of release. Anybody who could suggest Summer wave sets to get doubles of for parts? I'm thinking doubles of Warrior, Scorpio and Grinder all of them will do. And I suppose it's just as well - I have Jurassic World setting me back £299.94 and Ninjago is going to set me back an estimated £300 - and the Star Wars Constraction anything up to £150 (more if I get doubles - luckily I have a friend who may be getting review copies of them which he might give to me if he doesn't like them...) Oh wow, this post made me realise just how much money I spend on plastic

^ I originally wanted to register with Bricksafe quite a few months back, but for some unknown reason registration for me failed. I put in my details, then it just sat perpetually loading for 2 hours (until I cut the connection when I got bored). It never went anywhere. It never sent me a confirmation email either, and I couldn't find out what to do or who to contact if I had trouble registering (which I did). Shame, if only it'd worked, I wouldn't be relying on the much more unreliable Brickshelf to host my LXF's

It's working for me too, at least for the moment. Seems to be cycling between working and not working all day so far
-
Sent you a PM (though I'm not sure if my PM is working correctly with regards to receiving messages, so it would also be helpful to reply here too). Unfortunately, while I have revised screenshots on my computer, ready to upload, Brickshelf has decided not to work for me at all today so I can't update them just yet EDIT: Just updated Brickshelf and the pictures have auto-updated themselves. Are these new pics any better?

Anyone still having problems with Brickshelf? Yesterday it was working fine, today I keep losing connection to it and am getting "webpage unavailable" errors, though sometimes I'm able to access it briefly (though it loads extremely slowly). But the webpage unavailable error just returns when I try and log in, so it's unusable anyway. Very frustrating since I'm trying to do some official sets in LDD work that I can't use any other host for (tried registering for Bricksafe, and the register page got stuck in a perpetual loading loop). Anybody know what's going on? Using latest version of Google Chrome if that matters.

^ Is anybody able to help me with my question in any way? It's bothering me a bit

I thought I'd try and start actively contributing to the wonderful official sets made in LDD topic, as I noticed many Constraction sets were missing from it. Please let me know if there is anything wrong with them and I will swiftly attend to the faults, but hopefully they're problem-free. I'm aware 40117 may not be ideal since it's an extremely rare polybag and instructions don't seem to be available online, so I understand should you choose not to index it ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 40116 Hero Robot / Invasion from Below polybag - Theme: Hero Factory [Brickset][Bricklink] LXF file (LDD 4.3.8, Brickset 1564.2) Errors: Part 92222 cannot be placed correctly as per the instructions and is placed one stud down - collision error due to fact part 90641 cannot be positioned correctly in LDD either. What interests me most about these is the new moulds for The Doctor's sonic screwdriver and Chell's Portal gun. They both look fantastic! Sadly, unless they turn up in some of next year's sets, I won't be able to get them. They'll be £30 each in the UK, aftermarket prices will be ridiculous (if anybody even parts these out) and considering I'm not (or rather, I can't) shelling out £300 for a new console and £100 for the starter pack, it's not worth it Though I do have to wonder: is it possible that BTTF, Doctor Who, Portal and Wizard of Oz could get actual / more sets? It wouldn't make sense for those wonderful new moulds to just appear in one "pseudo-set" each (as I'm calling these Fun/Level/Team Packs, I don't regard them as true sets).
-
That's what I had in mind as a design too. Maybe with "CCBS Expert!" or something like that written over it. Maybe I could whip up some designs for fun? But given the moderators for this forum are very busy at the moment, guess my idea is not going to happen any time soon (also, Hau tags haven't been given out even when people have requested one, see top of this page) Hopefully some much-needed updates to the AF forum and it's indexes will come soon.

I hope this is okay to ask, I'm not normally one to ask for help but need soome advice for this. I was PM'ed by one of the wonderful forum moderators on this site asking me to help with something, and I replied to them. I PM'ed them a follow-up reply a week later when I got no reply back and asked them a couple of questions I wanted to ask, but no reply to that either. The messenger shows that they're reading the PM's I'm sending them but I'm not receiving any answer at all. I know they might just simply be too busy, but is there any possibility that there's problems with the personal messenger that's preventing me receiving messages? (My inbox is practically empty so that's not the problem) Apologies, I don't get involved in PM's with staff very often so I'm a little unsure of the etiquette involved, so thought I'd ask. I don't want to do anything wrong EDIT: The forum seized up (it does that quite often, not sure why) and I somehow managed to post twice. EDIT 2: Another question, just related to PM's in general: if I edit a PM that has already been read by the recipient, are they notified or not? I'm not sure, I've never used a PM system that was editable after posting.

Lego Ultra Agents 2015
TheOneVeyronian replied to TPLSTER21's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Oh, really? That's disappointing. How do you know if that's the case for the whole of Europe, or is that just an assumption since you were told they're cancelled in Germany? Would a German toystore actually know if they were cancelled outside of Germany? Sorry, I do trust what you're saying, but I just wanted to check I'm hoping they haven't been cancelled in the UK too (we are technically in Europe though so I don't hold much hope). I don't want to have to resort to expensive importing from the US so I can get my robo-shark and lightning helmet villain I might have to ask my local LEGO Store when I next go there in about a week, see if they're still coming here or not. -
Oh yeah, I didn't think of that. I was making it up as I went along so any references to the Ignika are purely coincidental I don't think it's the golden Skull Spider mask either. It's just my scientifically-geared mind creating possible hypotheses over whether the golden Skull Spider mask or a Skull Spider reanimated Skull Slicer Anyway, I wish that Skull Slicer actually had Skull Spider legs on his mask so it shows it was a Skull Spider that reanimated him. At the moment, anything could still be possible, including the gold mask scenario I described earlier.

Don't worry, The Brick Fan has all the descriptions down. Here's Skull Warrior's My guess is that it's a regular Skull Spider, given it's silver and not gold. But who knows, maybe LOSS went and put the golden mask on the dead Slicer and it magically turned silver as it reanimated him/her?

Thanks for posting the descriptions! I'm really looking forward to all of these sets now. I like how flick missiles seem to get incorporated into ever stranger things - a tea farm has them now? Also, I want to know where Cole's sausage of strength comes from Anyway, a random sounding question: does anybody have even the faintest idea what R.E.X. in Ronin R.E.X. stands for? I have a feeling that it's got to stand for something more than just being a cool sounding name.

Agreed, the head moulds can get in the way quite a bit. Best policy with the Simpsons packs is to identify all the accessories. Homer and Hibbert are hardest to distinguish and should be the only case where you need to feel the head mould (Hibbert's head is bumpy, Homer's is smooth). Anyway, I bought Pteranodon Capture and finished off the Simpsons Series 2 figs with Marge, Bartman, Edna and Smithers yesterday. Took me forever to find Bartman suprisingly, had to try 5 different stores before I found him. Must be popular Also made some Bricklink orders to try and finish some MOC projects I'm working on.
