@KoolJBlack: 2014 sets are available: http://www.technicopedia.com/2014.html I guess it is still too early to have 2015 sets there :) -
So I missed the deadline for this great competition (@jim, maybe you could remove the [TC6]-prefix), but I am still determined to finish this model. The model will have 4WD and 4 wheel steering, like the real model. Below is my WIP. This is what it should look like: Basic setup of scale, steering and test: Adding motors and functions to the front (+testing): This will be my first MOC with power functions and I have to admit, trying to fit everything and getting everything to work is not easy in this scale (there are a lot of iterations). All those real MOC'ers out there deserve all my respect

I guess all the "viewers" expected to see pictures of a transmission :) Anyway, if you google a bit, you can find a lot of pictures of tranmissions: https://www.google.be/search?q=LEGO+technic+transmission Found an LXF here: http://rebrickable.com/mocs/zrhett/5-r-transmission I can also recommend Sariel's book. I have it and it's worth every penny.

At Blokbricks you can buy after market pneumatic hoses per cm. These hoses are of good quality and they are great if you like creating MOCs with pneumatics. In the 8868 set, a bunch of rigid hoses are used to give more realism to the model. Can anyone tell me if there's an after market for rigid hoses, like the pneumatic hoses per cm?

Seems your images are not rendering properly in the Entry Topic. Just so you know. Would be a shame if this model wasn't shown properly in the Entry Topic.

[TC5] Old Racecar
kennywest replied to kennywest's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Took some pictures today. You can find all of the pictures in my bricksafe. It features: - Hand Of God steering - Working steering wheel I know it doesn't use a lot of parts from the original set, but I guess it doesn't take a lot of parts to create a small race car :) Anyway, this is my 4th MOC ever, so be gentle :) -
30. Ye Olde Race Car Hello all, This is my entry for the competition. It is based on the most awful Technic set in my collection: The Bucket Truck Here's the link to my WIP topic: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=102063 I call it "Ye Olde Race Car" :) The car is rather small, so there are a lot of left over pieces. Here are some pictures: It has hand-of-god steering on the back. And there's also a fake exhaust system. The driver's steering wheel actually works and the driver also has a fake speedometer. I hope you like it.

The scale, for the moment, doesn't allow it. It is inspired by this blueprint: It does feature HOG and a working steering wheel for the driver, however. Anyway, I will try to post some pictures tonight. My camera is in the shop for cleaning, but I am getting it back today :) -

Lego Pneumatics
kennywest replied to Renamed99's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
42008 has pneumatics ... and I think this is the only set containing pneumatics that is generally available in S@H and toy stores.- 10 replies
