    My plan is (if all goes well) an order for the Exo Suit, the research lab set and most likely the Spaceship Spaceship SPACESHIP! (yes I could wait until it shows up locally here in Australia and buy one at 20% off but then I have to order something else to reach the $200 free-shipping limit on Shop @ Home and I cant afford a $200 Shop @ Home order AND the Spaceship Spaceship SPACESHIP!)

    Loving this series. Video gamer is awesome. Rocker is awesome, cool shirt, cool glasses plus new guitar, I want at least 2 of this guy. Jester is cool. Pizza delivery guy is cool. liking the printed tiles although I have never seen a pizza delivery guy with a tie before (which is what it looks like the guy is wearing) Lifeguard is cool, sunglasses, RED binoculars, sunglasses, cool hair. Wizard is great, love the hat and robe. Only ones this series that I am interested in multiples of are the rocker and pizza guy.

    You cant go wrong with the Canon stuff right from the point & shoot all the way to the pro level DSLRs. Never used a Sony DSLR before but I have used a Sony Cyber-Shot Point & Shoot and it was a piece of junk (which is why I bought a Canon to replace it)

    All I can say is WOW. I haven't bought any of the DC Super Heroes sets since I dont like Batman (and since I already have a bunch of stuff from the old old Batman wave including the first Arkham) but I am loving this. Green Lantern is close to my favorite DC super hero.

    Its possible that some stores had stock out and then pulled it back (or were instructed to by head office) so they would have stock when the sale starts (i.e. it will get put back out tonight)

    UCS X-Men mansion/school? UCS Avengers mansion? If they can do Arkham, they could do either of these locations (both of which are quite well known) in a similar "play-set" fashion.

    Based on what I read on another forum it looks like the "free postage" threshold for Shop @ Home for NZ has been increased to $400.

    Hit Chermside today, the only thing I saw that is even worth mentioning is a Winter Village Market and a few BTTF sets at Mr Toys. All the other stores were mostly empty. MYER was running another "buy 1 get 1 50% except LEGO" sale. BTW has anyone seen any good pricing (at a store in SE QLD that actually has stock) on the Juniors Ninja Turtles set or the LEGO Movie Metalbeard set?

    I think whats happened is that LEGO have made the decision that they dont need to release lots of new product in June/July anymore like they used to.

    They did a museum robbery a while back and also a bank robbery before that. Interesting fact: Every year of LEGO city since the beginning has had at least one set containing a fire helicopter or police helicopter. I dont mind police and fire sets either, they can be good parts packs :)

    I view these toys as having more in common with plastic model kits than with the LEGO bricks we all know and love. I could see products like this being very popular with the sort of people who do table top war-games (and in fact a line of "brick-built" highly detailed scenery would probably sell VERY well to that crowd as something that could be easily customized, modified when its "damaged in battle" etc) but I cant see too many AFOLs being interested in it. I for one have no plans to abandon the brick :)

    I could swear I saw (and commented on) a review of the Exo-Suit on the front page of Eurobricks yesterday but now it seems to be gone. WTF happened?

    WOW, just WOW. I WILL be buying this. If nothing else, buying this will (hopefully) send the message to TLG that we as LEGO fans want more of the same please :) Not to mention all the awesome parts (the green spacemen alone make it worth it)

    Thankfully my rest-of-2014 spending is quite small with the only must-buys being the Spaceship Spaceship SPACESHIP! and the Exo-Suit.

    Was anyone expecting Target retail pricing on the Ewok Village to be anything other than AU RRP? With luck, their sale will have it at 20% off or so.

    I believe its comming out later in the year, September or something I think. If you want one, buying online (Shop @ Home or otherwise) is a much safer option than waiting :)

    The more I see this the more I want one. The green spacemen alone make it worth it. I just hope that this wont cost a fortune here in Australia (the Ecto-1 was surprisingly good value)

    This is a great set, just LOVE it. Green spacemen are cool, I have always wanted green airtanks.

    You need some waitresses hanging around the slot machines carrying booze so guests dont have to get up and stop gambling. Love the slot machines and gaming tables though.

And its got GREEN spacemen (I have wanted green airtanks for a project for AGES) Will wait for more pics to decide if the set is worth it (that said, maybe I will buy one anyway to help send the message to LEGO that we want more proper Space sets please)
