  1. OOps! Sorry, here is the link:
  2. Here is a topic I found very helpful. Especially pay attention to "Ultraviolet" where he shows the special wire for the IR controller to be used with 9volt and correct polarity. There is excellent information here!!
  3. Check out: https://www.brickstickershop.com/
  4. This really did jazz up my day!!!
  5. I'm assuming you are already using a wanted list. getting 90-95% match rate is incredible! Usually on buying for a large MOC, you have to use several vendors. That way you can pick by best price, quantity and etc. Sometimes there are wide ranging prices on certain parts. I hope this helps.
  6. Go to your local Lego store and buy from the "Pick A Brick" wall.
  7. What are those parts at the very bottom of the "Top" that it spins on. It can be seen at 0:32, but it is kind of blurry. I want to build one of these.
  8. This is great!! How FUN!? I had one of those made of tin when I was a kid (now I'm giving away my age). I wonder what part you are using for it to spin on? Thanks for sharing!
  9. Yah, I wish it more curvy like the real one.
  10. WOW!!!!!
  11. I have copies of version 9.1.0.0 and 9.5.0.0 Do you know what version you have or what one you need?
  12. Dav1d Is this what you are looking for?
  13. This is what you want to watch.
  14. I use "Plano" 3700 and 3750 utility boxes with handles. These have dividers to custom fit your collection. I also use wire racks to hold them. Then they work like drawers. The boxes keep things dust free too. The wire racks are either "Old Cedar" or "Organised Fishing" brands. They come as 4, 6, 8 and 14 capacity. I prefer to stack 4 and 6 racks which actually gives 12 capacity. 8 capacity works well too. But 14s are too top heavy and they tip over easily, not good! Search for " modular utility box wire racks" These wire racks have gotten scarce since Covid19. They are comming back slowly.
  15. Very well done!
  16. According to "Bicklink" they are all brown in color. Lego colors have been known to yellow which is probably why yours look a little bit different.
  17. Love this!!! Thanks for sharing your coaster! It's a great accomplishment! That coaster changer is a cool idea!
  18. I use "BlueBricK". But, I don't know if it's available for Ipad.
  19. Hey folks, I know what you are thinking. Where does he get all those 9volt wires? BatteryPoweredBricks re-makes all his own 9volt wires and PF wires too. They are better than Lego originals!!! They can be made in any length you like. Here is a "how to" video from his youtube channel:
  20. You should choose to use the same gear ratio in all Portals. You are missing the upper gear that pairs with either the 20t or the 24t gears. The missing gear's axle 3 should continue through to the differential which is incomplete ( 3 gears inside). Do not use an axle all the way through the portal to attach wheels. The portal has a three pin design for that. There is not drive from the differential through the portal to where the wheels attach.
  21. This is very interesting. I would like to build it so I can try it myself. Are there any instructions for it?
  22. Love those flying byttresses!!! That is one awesome building.
  23. I just found this tonight. Looks very interesting! Will do the build tomorrow. April 5 - This is very good engineering!! It works very well. I just got done. I had a little trouble getting the top with "safestick" on. With all the moving parts, it would have been easier to put it on with a downward motion. This can be accomplished by repeating the pin connector with pins at the other end and omitting the black pins on the 5x7 frame.
