Can anyone tell what is the size (in Lego) of the elements used to make the two loop? I would especially like to know the size of the arc.

Lego building new factory in Virginia (Washington Post)
1963maniac replied to icm's topic in Community
Great for America!!!!!!! It's about time. -
Racing Brick has this suggestion for step 240, should this be done also? Or, is this fixing the same thing in step 241 above? Step 240 (Racing Brick) A minor error, if the knob gear is in this position forming an X then the axle cannot be inserted in this position forming a +. Both the axle and the knob gear will have the + orientation when inserted in place.

Time to rename Technic bricks?
1963maniac replied to Tube Map Central's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Erik Leppen you are right. Yes, I think part names ought to be more appropriate, too. I mean if the part has a pin, pinhole, axle or axlehole, it's name ought to start with Technic (whether it's a brick, plate or tile), Bricklink's nameing evolved over time as new parts came along. So, it's not even their fault! It would be much easier to find parts too. -
I use Plano type boxes, 3700 series which come in several configurations. They are dust free and easily stack like drawers in "modular utility box wire racks". Unfortunately, because of Covid19, they are harder than hens teeth to find these days. I also use Lego education bins for larger items. I stack them in shelves or on roller bases which can go under a table. I also use plastic cabinets with clear drawers on rollers. They are not so dust free.

Stud.io parts are LDRAW, .dat files. I don't know if Stud.io can use STL files but MLCAD will convert STL files to .dat.

McAfee Flagged it "Suspicious" before I downloaded it. Microsoft Defender prevented this from running upon ordering the set-up installation. I am not going to run this copy on my PC. I just shredded it. Sorry Erik, I was trying to see what would happen on my PC in order to maybe help. I'm going no further. Maybe corruption is the prolem?

I think you are right. Check this out: https://www.lego.com/cdn/cs/set/assets/bltc0add98c97e35d0e/02.06.21_LEGO_PickaBrick_v2.mp4 TLG is still working on it. Probably don't have every warehouse conpletely stocked yet. Hopefully this will mean a better selection and shorter wait times.

This happened over a month ago. I don't appreciate the new charges either. But TLG did not consult AFOLs about this. TLG does what is necessary for them. At least they didn't take it away entirely.

Well, I'm in the USA. So, I'll try to help. Ebay and Amazon are big here. We also have a free site called Craigslist that you can buy/sell almost anything. There are also Lego reseller stores. Personally, I can't stand the thought of parting with any Legos. You never know what you're gonna need. But, I too, am at the point of having too much. Who owns what anyway? Do you own the Legos or do they own you? Maybe just get rid of a few things to make room for some new stuff.
