Nice setting. I love the way it looks all so neat and townhallish on the first glance and yet zooming in there are lots of playful and somehow cute litte details.

[MOC] [Steampunk] Sir Archibald's Flying Lucilla
Loves Houses replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
This one somehow reminds me of large birds in movies carrying big weights - lets think who did such things lately Must be the beaky white front. Interesting thing that. And I like the rotor tons. How long can it stay airborne? Can we have some statistics here?- 14 replies

Nice machine, I can virtually hear it chugging around.

Nice atmosphere of the set and I like the outward pointing bridge. Opens space for fantasy.

Here I present to you my Grand Hotel Ocean View - work in progress. That is the outside facade is ready, but I still need to add the interior and the roof garden. Inspiration to this came from last years summer holiday. And then the friends hotel came, and I bought it and used many of its elements. But alas, to build a hotel is such an undertaking... The project plan got delayed. It is still WIP and the interior needs to be added. And now if I'm not careful these agents start sending the tourists already. I know some of you have been awaiting this, so here you go. Tipps for interior appreciated. The forefront can be nicely integrated into a Grand Esplanade. The palm shaded garden side invites to have breakfast outside. I'm not yet decided what shades to use for the rooftop. And of course the gardeners have lots to do still. The belle etage has lofty rooms with a balcony each and ocean view. Rooms are flooded with beautiful sun light. The impressive carpet for the Great Hall has been delivered, but the clerks are missing their desks. Of course the MOC is modular and can be integrated with other Lego City buildings. C&C welcome. Some more pictures and sizes can be found on Flickr.

3 Modular Houses - old & modern, with Kwik-E-Mart, TBBT and more
Loves Houses replied to cimddwc's topic in LEGO Town
I love every single bit of this set and all the nice details. The corner house is an absolute beauty. It all looks so real. Even dragons can't resist a little nap in the sunshine on the rooftop. Simply dazzling. -
Ah, additionally to what all the other friends have said about the MOC you did a great job in cleaning and presenting the picture. Must have been a lot of work. Is there some interior in your houses as well? Would love to see the backsides... Keep bricking and posting! I certainly share the hope to see more of you here soon

[MOC] [Steampunk] Sir Archibald's Mechanical Elephant
Loves Houses replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Great built!. I love the way one can open it and play inside. And does it have a couch in there, did I see that right on the flickr picture? The window is a good thought as well. I mean, who would want to travel in a steam elefant all in the dark ... Sir Archibald is super steam-punky too. And they type face, and the way its presented... really gorgeous. -
[MOC] Tintin: "The secret of the Unicorn"
Loves Houses replied to stej123's topic in Special LEGO Themes
That's a very nice MOC. I love the lineage and the coloring. Tipp: you'd probably get many more replies if you move that to pirates forum. They present all sorts of ships over there - give it a try -
The Algus Saga - Celebrate Good Times, Come On!
Loves Houses replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Guilds of Historica
Nice build, I like the way its set against the blue sky behind with a little space in between. But I wonder, are the rabbits really enjoying themselves or are they just playing along being so scared facing the rabbit gloves of the king- 18 replies

Very nice modular. I love the way it looks suitable as stand-alone and still fits into the row. The roof is very lovely too.

Really lovely MOC - hope the Lego AFOL community will see more of you in the next months! Where do you have the green fences on the back side from?

Schöööön! For the arcades: did you try the 6x2 arch? I think that would give a good solution to your problem; there are plenty of these available in white in some brick stores ;-) I love the shop fronts on the backsides especially. Really playful. The way one balkony goes up one story higher than the other also works well.
-
PHANTASTIC MOC! Love the way you captured the essence with keeping the freedom to change few things - red color looks better anyway than the boring gray of the original ;-) We should suggest that to the town. Also, I was going to suggest a few minifigs outside to add a bit citi-like livelihood. But then in the original no one is there either . The interior and scenes from the court are really lovely - had a lot of fun looking at it and would imagine one can have lots of fun playing with it.

Wow, what an inspiring piece of art! The arches and how the work together... Nice combination of tan and grey bricks also, I alsways thought I have to decide for one of them as a base - - - but hey, here we go, it works together perfectly
-
Nice playable MOC. Come on - you can do the big 7 at the front as well - it would add to the already cool design... The flowers are nice. Do you have some more green plants in your stocks? Brick on - here's to you, great new MOCer - welcome to the crazy world of AFOLs

Whoa, awesome, that looks like a challenge. Some underground market place or wine cellars foreseen yet? ;-)
