  1. Brickmania in Limburg was great fun!

  2. I like the grand feeling of the stairs. Yeah, thats a casino! How did you get the arches holding the shells left and right from the shark window fixed? Whats between them? Could you share a detail picture?
  3. This ship must look gorgeous when it arrives in the harbour. Maybe, could you add a picture with some pirate and harbour houses in the background? Small-ish... I like the fearless crew, very convincing.
  4. What a gorgeous action scene, and the houses oh, ah, nice!
  5. Hi all, wow, thanks so much for the many lovely ideas so far. I think I will now have to spend the weekend with trying them all out and posting them; and then I want to create a voting. My first try is with a handful of round simple plates, but it looks more like a sea shore this way. Anyway, will post that as well.
  6. I like it! My complaint has been heard, I was allowed in and got sausages and cake. What more can I say. Absolutely marvelous.
  7. Hi, two things came together to inspire me to a new houses MOC: 1) a trip to Amsterdam with its incredible canals (Grachten) and gorgeous medieval house fronts 2) LEGO set 31026 - the new 3 in 1 creator houses set. Indeed, if you look closely you will notice that many elements of this set have been used one to one - just with a few new arrangements. In fact I love the set so much I have bought it a second time now. And please HELP: this is work in progress; I'm struggling with how to build the canal and it would be absolutely fantastic if some of you could help me with a few inspirations of how to best build/show the canal water. Here is what's there so far - playable already... 1 The complete front. 2 Left side 2a Left side - back side 3 Right side front 3a Right side - back side 4 Another perspective Enjoy - and don't forget to help me with the water so the WIP can go away in time. Yours brickily Loves Houses
  8. Dear Captain Braunsfeld, I'd like to register a complaint. I'm not allowed to the party just because its 'historically incorrect'??!!! I mean, who cares about history when there are sausages to be had? ... Needless to say - I absolutely like the comic - looking forward to a sequel where I'm allowed in. BRICK ON! Yours faithfully The medieval Loves Houses
  9. Uh, oh. This is a shop for males. Am I allowed to like it too? Its nicely integrated and the shop inside really looks like playing fun. Well done, brick on!
  10. bricking on a Sunday afternoon

  11. Hmmm, this is why I frequently stop by the classic pirates as well - sooooo many beautiful ideas for buildings in here. Some of the buildings look like very much Potter inspired, but its very nice what you made of them.
  12. Ok, ok, I'll go and buy some lion heads in tan. I'll post the update once I have them. Let me know which alternative you like best.
  13. I do love the river.
  14. Cute I definitely love the Indian Band. What's the song? Ice, ice baby?
  15. The Egyptian Museum might be plain on the outside BUT.... [Here is the link to the original foto. https://flic.kr/p/nYiBnt] The exhibition is superb!!! *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ The whole building is modular and can be easily stored. ... some more details: .. and here is all the modules it consists of .. ENJOY
  16. Green and tan - very nice. Keep on building!!!
  17. I like the colours! Its -- different. I think I will build some maritime houses in those nice blue and white schemes.
  18. Really nice details like the armchair and the white statues. But of course most of all I love the monkeys. More monkeys please, and then let's all go Bananas.
  19. Wow! The cathedral top window really has the wow effect. Grand building. ... and the woman at the left stole my pullover - scandal
  20. I like the weird and funny story! Beware, they have captured W. Shakespeare
  21. Nice finish and nice cupboard. An occasional interruption to the all grey exterior would make it even more gorgious. Keep going. One brick up for Kristel.
  22. time to build a MOC again

  23. Absolutely love the wintry train station.
  24. Wow, very nice MOC. The modern part and the older style fit surprisingly nicely. Well done.
  25. What a cute little winter MOC - would add to my winter town setting as well. Keep it up, I like your stuff.
