  1. Ninjago stone warrior horns in a new color.
  2. Did the speeder actually appear in the game or is it something comp;etely made-up by LEGO?
  3. Is it confirmed that the WOLF stuff are EPVII sets? I remember seeing the codename WOLF on some concept sketches for Rebels a while ago...
  4. Well, he died in the destruction of the first Death Star and even if he survived he was already old by the time, the new trilogy taking place 30 years after ROTJ - highly unlikely...
  5. Because it's an AT-DP, not an AT-ST?
  6. Whenever I need to borrow some pieces from an assembled set I really like, I store the rest of it (in larger chunks, if possible) in a box or plastic bag and keep it separate from the rest of my collection.
  7. Oh. Really? Guess I didn't pay enough attention. Most of the Google Graphics search results showed an A-Wing that was... well... green.
  8. My 2nd entry for the LUGPol microfighters style building contest. Hope you like this one.
  9. Thanks for all the positive feedback, guys. I really appreciate it.
  10. Built for LUGPol Star Wars microfighter style building contest. Why the SPHA-T? Well, I noticed TLG has never released this tank in any form, so I took the chance to build something original.
  11. Buy the parts. The 75014 version of the viper probe droid is a lot better than 7666, though. It's much more accurate - rewatch the movie or check out some photos.
  12. Whoa, this is so simple yet so ingenious. Thank you for your reply. What do you generally think of the set? Is it worth buying while still available? Or should I buy an X-wing microfighter to get a pilot and BL the pieces to build my own version?
  13. 1. The animators were lazy? 2. They thought the octuptarra magna tri-droids were cooler and have more articulation while being basically the same as the homing spider droids? 3. When TCW cartoon first launched I assumed it was supposed to be expanding the older CW series directed by Genndy Tartakovsky, showing the later stages of the war (Anakin is already a knight, CIS vehicles are painted blue, more advanced octuptarras replace homing spider droids that featured in AOTC and the CW series). But then I learned TCW starts in 22 BBY, making CW non-canon... which doesn't make any sense for me. It ruined chronology, it ruined continuity, it ruined pretty much everything. The lack of homing spider droids is really the last thing that should bother us.
  14. Hello, After rewatching the original trilogy I, a PT collector, developed a craving for an iconic OT vehicle set. What grabbed my attention was the latest incarnation of X-wing starfighter (9493). I thought it looks fantastic and really accurate. However, after watching a few video reviews I noticed a technical problem with the wing mechanism that made me wonder if the set is really that awesome... Check out this video to see what I'm talking about (skip to 5:18 and then 6:13): It looks terrible... If you have this set, I have a few questions: 1. Do you experience the same problem (bricks separating)? 2. Is it the bricks' quality or a bad design that can be fixed somehow? 3. Would it still happen if I'm careful enough when opening the wings? 4. Does removing one pair of rubber bands help? 5. Does it still occur when rubber bands become more "used"? All in all, should I get the set or just order some pieces and make my own version without the rubber band mechanism?
  15. WOW. This is truly an amazing castle, and kinda unusual as well. I like the height of the towers and the fact that it consists of two separate sections connected with the tudor part. Nice decorations, wonderfully shaped landscape - especially the swamp area. However, I don't really see the point of the main gate's location - it doesn't seem to be accessible at all, so what purpose does it serve?
  16. Creative way to make open Alien eggs...
  17. Are the torso and head really for the Palpatine inculded with the upcoming book? I thought all the figures that come with books are Chinese plastic and have no marks on the "neck", but this one clearly has a mark...
  18. Sorry, but in the movie itself (Episode III) the wings rotate just like in 7915 - guns pointing down. Watch closely the scene where Emperor's shuttle lands on the platform in the Surgical Reconstruction Centre. A single V-wing lands behind the shuttle and I can clearly see how the wings rotate. The Hasbro toys got it wrong. The Hasbro version of the imperial V-wing pilot also has helmet with an open visor like the ARC-170 pilots have, which is wrong, as the V-wing pilots had sealed suits and helmets due to the lack of life support system.
  19. Why is the new AT-AT driver's armor light gray and his suit sand blue? Almost every depiction (including toys) show him with white armor and light gray suit - just like the previoius LEGO versions.
  20. These droids also did cleanup after the battle with Gungans. Noticed them lately when rewatching TPM. They were working around an MTT, so the set is probably going to be MTT. Ekhem... How about the scene where they nearly got crushed by an MTT shortly after landing on Naboo? Or was it Jar-Jar who was about to get crushed and Qui-Gon saved him? I can imagine the back of the box showing both some Battle of the Grassy Plains scenes and the Jedi encounter with the MTT on the swamp. Not sure about the Naboo Guard, though...
  21. Nice to see they fixed the truck's front. Now it looks much better!
  22. This is not a place for trading offers.
  23. I'm confused - is it Space or Star Wars? Some of the images scream Hoth Rebel Base.
  24. The mechas look nice, but they don't quite "fit" into the Exo-Force theme. Why? The human side mechas are, as far as I remember, almost exclusively humanoid. The machines you have presented seem more suitable for the robots and their slightly alien technology - their mechas spot many different (not humanoid) designs, often resemble various predators and other animals, have back-bent knee joints and the like.
  25. Ninjas ar more or less associated with loose robes, scarfs and the like, a feel which (I guess) would be a bit hard to recreate with constraction/HF parts.
