You should be safe for April. May will be a tad more critical... -

Have you ever read books like 'incredible cross-sections' or 'the essential guide to vehicles and vessels' ? Albeit entirely incomplete, both books do give some detailed information on amongst other the death star, and are really good reads -
About the chance no epIII would come out: please know that LEGO needs to work way in advance for each set that comes out; this may be 1 to 2 years in advance. If LEGO had known about the 3D cancellation a looooong while ago, they would have cancelled the work they put in epIII sets. However, if the cancellation was made past Disney's purchase of Lucasarts, then LEGO, Hasbro and other toy makers will probably not have enough time to cancel a significant part of their Star Wars lineup, and we might end up with epIII sets nevertheless. And I don't think anyone would mind that at all Come here UT-AT!

Of course they rotate; the wings are connected via a TECHNIC pin...

What're your favorite and least favorite Star Wars sets?
HJR-Holland replied to Loco de Lego's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Hands down the 4483 AT-AT; only set that made me jump for joy :-) -
Thanks for the instructions; I will build this one this year; it's a great looking model! :-)

That E-wing is really a bitter disappointment. Come on LEGO, surely you can do better than that?!! Quite frankly, I can even do better than that! Which in all fairness I did improve since then ;-)

Quite frankly, the only thing I'm waiting for from epIII is the UT-AT; I've been waiting for that thing ever since the movie came out. I do know LEGO made a prototype for it (see here: ), question is just if they'd ever release it... I'm tempted to build a MOC of it, but in the past i've spent money on a MOC one year, with LEGO released the same vehicle one year later!!

That is correct information, although it was just one elephant: http://scifidownunder.blogspot.nl/2010/10/photos-of-elephant-dressing-up-as.html

I'd wait until the 4th really... IF SW LEGO goes on sale, it's mostly then... -
I do agree that the animal is a bit too cartoony; also the saddle has studs, but is further not really compatible with other LEGO pieces; I'd just use the horse / tauntaun / cow / dewback variant where the hole in the back is filled up with 'standard' bricks instead of this new mould... Love the idea though, so naturally I supported :-)

I thought it was 'just' grey vs bley, but if this info is correct I need to get a 7152 next to the 7150's I already have...

Let's not forget that there have been UCS sets at 'moderate' prices: 10026 (Naboo Starfighter): $40 10215 (Obi's Starfighter): $100 10174 (AT-ST): $80 10175 (TIE/Ad): $100 So why would the X-wing be not be buildable in UCS for that price? The LEGO designers have become more creative in recent times in building big things with less parts...

Love it, so voted :-) good thing you included a Jawa; we need more of those!

For several years now, in the LEGO top 10 with the highest revenue (that's revenue, not number of sales!) Star Wars sets make up about 7 of the 10 sets. LEGO only publishes the top 10 without the actual turnover per set, so I can't say how much it could be. This year could be different though; I heard LEGO have dropped production of several products in favour of the LEGO Friends line; which are a huge success... -
I really like this MOC, compliments on how you built it, but one small remark: the crab droid is rather out of scale:

i'd advise www.bricklink.com or go to the website of MMCB, who has cloth pauldrons that are a lot more detailed: www.mmcbcapes.com.au It's still for sale at Shop@home. I give it until June next year... -

It could also be an M-3PO unit... -
After having read the news I immediately wondered how well Howard the Duck would fit in Duckburg ;-) In all fairness, I don't see the point in making an episiode VII. episode VI rounded up everything, the Sith is gone, who bother continuing? Looking at the recent videogames, I'd much rather look forward to a Star Wars: The Old Republic movie... What I do look forward to is the release of the one & only Disney - Lucasfilm collaboration LEGO set, a proper Star Tours set! Votes are still welcome by the way ;-)

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
HJR-Holland replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Well, more likely about $20k - $30k. There is indeed one mold at LEGO that costs $300k (it is the one used for the dice), but that's because it fabricated in a rather complicated way (not by choice, of course)
