Review: 4766 Harry Potter - Graveyard Duel
HJR-Holland replied to xwingyoda's topic in LEGO Licensed
i think that if I had told someone two years ago that LEGO was about to release set set of a graveyard; a lot of people would have laughed in my face... *wacko* I thik it's really cool though; I already foresee plans with the black skeleton :) -
I find it such a pity that LEGO doesn't put something 'new' into a set like this; i mean, I'm crazy enough to buy this set if there was some 'new' minifig in it, or a vehicle in a different colour. It's the same with the soon-to-be-launched ultimate space battle set; had they replaced Anakin's fighter with a purple or a green one (Shaak Tii or Mace Windu), I would have bought it; now I'm not sure...
-
For a 10$ set I think it's absolutely faboulous. For a 20$ set I think I wouldn't have liked it, and would rather have LEGO use other pieces for it...

The survey doesn't work; it keeps on making errors...

I'd like the well known female Jedis: - Aayla Secura - Shaak Ti - barris Offee (yes I know in LEGO form she'll like like Luminara Unduli, but she's my favourite) Most important is Aayla though, as I'd really like some female Twi'lek (for customs) apart from those there's a trillion background characters that appear 0,00000001 seconds in the Star wars movies, and I won't bother you with them...
-
I agree wholeheartedly that we need at least one female twi'lek before 2008, and Aayla Secure is a great excuse :) You mean the one that is briefly seen behind an AT-AP? I think that'll be more expensive (more like 100$) I don't see that one coming, as it's the cartoon and not in the movie. I REALLY liked to have LEGO make some clone wars sets though (V-19, Anakin's fighter etc.) Naah... way too boring... I'm with this one! We deserve a Kit Fisto! Naah... which kid wants to buy that??? We already get the ultimate space battle! I would like a white starfighter in a special package with the LEGO SW videogame though... Naah... YEAH! YEAH!!! With Obi-Wan, Magna guards and Grievous please... I'm with this one (although the 7143 didn't sell really well) And then there's still a lot of stuff from the 'amazing crossections' book that didn't make it into the movie, but were described extensively, and there's quite some rather cool stuff there too... Oh, and what I'd like: a Coruscant taxi !!!

The sets sound nice, and I'm looking forward to seeing both the IG88 minifig, the the wing construction of the V-Wing!!...

Yet another first in the LEGO community for Eurobricks; congratulations!!! As all the other people, I'm really looking forward to the next stage (that is, pictures of course!!!) -
Your chrome set RULES. Period :-D

Yuk, they don't even look like LEGO :/ They should have sticked to the figs of the videogame, they are minifig sized. These figs are just digital characters with sharp edges...

Dude, why don't you check out a dutch site for this question? You could ask someone at the bouwsteen or lowlug and they'd know more about the sets shop up in Holland rather than this european oriented site... Just my 2 cents... :) -
promo star wars lego stuff, please.

Expect to pay at least 500$ for the 1999 invitation set... -

If this deathstar was the final set with old gray I would have bought a couple, but in new grey I'm not very keen in buying one. But then again, I'm much more into minifig sized SW-LEGO sets than the UCS stuff anyway... -

2004 - Good or Bad year for the Star Wars line?
HJR-Holland replied to DoubleT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I think the dual sets were LEGO's ultimate test to see how far they could go up with the price while going down with the pieces. The dual sets cost 10 -
62 sets, 3710$ and 14900 pieces :-D

2004 - Good or Bad year for the Star Wars line?
HJR-Holland replied to DoubleT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
There are essentially four things I think LEGO needs to make: - Sailbarge - Sandcrawler - Some sort of Hoth set with Tauntauns, an imperial probe and / or a Wampa - the TIE-Interceptor. I find it a very big letdown that LEGO brings us the 1,256,587,584th version of the TIE fighter, instead of giving us a TIE Interceptor instead... -
2004 - Good or Bad year for the Star Wars line?
HJR-Holland replied to DoubleT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
It is however a hard time for the completist; the TIE collection of which half is rubbish, the rerelease of the Y-wing with 'new grey' and the TIE advanced that is almost the same; the X-wing in new grey... all models that the collector already has, and so might skip the newer versions, were it not that there are small differences... I for one have decided not to buy rereleases or rerereleases at all... -
Same here :-D And the actual black market original falcon is up to 400$. You could buy an isd instead :| Too funny! |-D When the Falcon was released I saw one in Scotland, decided not to buy it, but at my secons visit to the town there was one left, and I decided to take it. A wise choice it was, as I never EVER saw it afterwards in Holland, Belgium, France and Germany... I guess I'm not the only one having problems finding it then :)

They had a fantastic four TV-movie a few years back and a friend of mine, who is an ace fan of the comic zapped away during the movie, it was THAT bad. I hope this new one will be better, but it really needs some big stars, and from what I saw on IMDB.com there aren't any in the movie...

2004 - Good or Bad year for the Star Wars line?
HJR-Holland replied to DoubleT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I can fully understand why LEGO has re-released the A-list of Star wars vehicles again, and I have no problems with the X-wing, snowspeeder and cantina at all. It's just a shame that there's nothing 'new' at all this year (apart from the new TIE of course, but to spend 85 -
Hi people, I'm HJR and I'm new. Maybe some of you who frequent other LEGO websites already know me, as I use the same name everywhere (fbtb, bricklink, brickshelf, 1000steine, freelug, lowlug etc). What else is there to say? Errr.... I make a lot of Star wars MOCS (you can find my brickshelf account in my profile) and I like to make simple LEGO city models, just like ME Models make them. And now I'm going to spam this forum |-D
