    Thank you every one! Well, I don't have any good pictures of them, but what I did is just a plain black head, or I used the black skeleton heads from the old crownie castle line, and put them in all black with black armor. The best picture of them is here -

    Thanks guys. I was thinking the same thing about the mast, I just wasn't sure. And that WIP looks really nice Kabel, I love your ships. Next time I make a ship I'm going to make it smaller, it's pretty hard to work with a big one like mine to get a decent shape.

    Here's my last minute entry to the dark times prologue challenge. The house is not so good, because I ran out of time, and it kept collapsing (which I suppose is what's supposed to happen...) Grand Lords De Gothia and Simon, I have urgent news regarding the drow in Avalonia. Raids in my lands of Ferinwald and other surrounding provinces have been increasing. Their tactic has been to tunnel under villages and houses, and then cave the tunnel in so the houses collapse. Once collapsed, drow come pouring out like ants. My people are in constant fear of an attack, and there is much unrest, and even talk of taking matters into their own hands. I have doubled the patrol of my lands, but the drow strike too quickly and to often for me to stop them all. Based on information my scouts and contacts have brought to light, It is my belief that they are planning to open up a full out war soon. I strongly urge a purging of the drow from our lands, before they grow too strong. Your loyal servant, Sir Brychan Cedry

    It looks better on the deck. It still could maybe use a bit more uniform color on the sides, to make it look a little smoother, but other than that it looks good. I like the tail-thing on the stern.

    Love that large angled window! Really cool.

    Very cool! Those windows are a nice touch. I especially like the 1x1 tiles around the top of the main tower, they give a really cool look to the roof.

    Osgiliath. Khazad-Dum wouldn't have any new characters. Osgiliath would have Gondor soldiers.

    Cool. The soul propulsion is creepy... My only advice would be to maybe de-clutter the deck a little bit, and try to make the sides a bit more smooth, if that makes sense.

    Yesterday I did a major overhaul on The Sea Bull, so it looks quite a bit different. I decided I was unhappy with how the stern and the prow looked, so I renovated a bit. I also took the suggestions I was given about the mast etc., so hopefully I'll be able to post a progress pic sometime soon. Plus I've got an idea for a few more ships and the Dark times challenge... Time to kick some Drow.

    What heads do y'all use for drow? Do you just use solid black, or is there a specific head that's supposed to be used? I was considering using the black skeleton heads, since I don't really have any other good drow-like heads, but wasn't sure if that would work...

    Thanks The Architect and TheUtilityBelt32. About the oven, actually there were fire pits/oven on ships. They usually covered the ground around it with wet sand though, or in my case, a thin brick layer to protect from sparks.
