  1. Nice one! Nicely built mouse face . Perhaps Mickey is saying 'Now I am the master' This too - Bring out the Gimp!
  2. Nah it's six max - that's why Oky has to give one up to get the new one (I'm worried that I'm going to end up being the only remaining member with a pink tag ).
  3. I'm beginning to wish I hadn't mentioned it . They're both red, Santa's coat red. Maybe the mold is slightly different, maybe they are exactly the same, but I'm assuming as #4172047 was last used in 2002, the one with the new number (6037590) will become readily available again with the (possible) release of the Tin Soldier.
  4. I narrowly missed out on an eBay auction for one of these about 2 years ago - my max bid was £55 and it went for £57 - then a few weeks later I decided not to buy one off Bricklink for £75 because it was 'too expensive' . Eventually my missus bought me one for a BIG birthday for £95! - I've carried regrets about the two I missed for a long time, but seeing this topic has made me feel a bit better (except now there's no way I can ever open mine ). I could swear I read that there were about 30,000 or 40,000 chrome Vaders - I can't find where I read that though. I think the Chrome 3P0 promo was limited to the US whereas Chrome Vader was much more readily available (inserted randomly into boxes in the US and as a freebie when you spent £30 in TRU in the UK - (also seem to recall some people saying they bought them in Lego stores in Europe for around €5?)).
  5. Wow - caption contest and an 8x8! - Thanks to anyone who gave me a vote and congratulations to all the other winners! A huge thanks also goes to Peppermint_M for hosting this fun contest I think I'll go for the frosty face tag seeing as Christmas is on the way and UK temperatures are (allegedly) set to plunge this week .
  6. That's kinda why I listed the link - it shows the old part as used 'in 2 sets' and a 'new' one with a #603 used 'in 0 sets'. I think these are good parts to have in various colours and I recently needed a red one but had to settle for dark red.
  7. Santa: "You actually go outside... in yellow spandex!?"
  8. Dr. Hokam seems to be a tad sadistic, I actually feel sorry for the werewolves. Nice MOC
  9. A few Asdas round our way (NW) have still been stocking Series 6 minifigs and have had them on sale for £1.40 for ages! My Local Asda has finally got Series 8 and are still selling them at that price Also Toys R Us are giving away a £20 coupon when you spend £75 on Lego online - haven't really looked into the details due to the generally over inflated prices of that store - but might be worth while for some.
  10. I wonder if these could be the legs for the tin soldier? EDIT: I also noticed that the minifig back plate is listed in red (6037590) which would be perfect to hold the wind-up-key.
  11. Wow, excellent find Aanchir! I didn't even know brickset had that feature - I've just wasted my morning browsing Lego parts - it's like por-no for AFOLs ! Found a cool wing that's apparently from Legends of Chima. I suppose this takes all the fun out of guessing series 10 - maybe it's time the Series 11 topic was unlocked?
  12. Fuzzy Wuzzy was a woman!?

  13. Took me a moment to get this, then it gave me a little chuckle
  14. Wonder Woman: "...and as you can see, it's much more subtle than a Quinjet."
  15. Thanks for running another one of these ace raffles CopMike Here's my entry...
  16. Wow, all three of these are fantastic . I like that you haven't slavishly created a replica of the NOTLD house but instead have built a 'classic' horror film styled house. The ghetto blaster looks a little out of place with the retro feel though . My favourite (scene) has got to be the Infected Human, simply because there is so much going on... I love the entrails hanging out of the downed Zombie and the cop who's shooting one through the head. I wonder if the window Zombie is going to climb on the roof and if so will he fall on those unfortunate people below Excellent work!
  17. Watched Skyfall at the weekend - don't believe the hype! The first part is really good but the third act is a total action movie cliché - admittedly new territory for Bond but a cliché nevertheless.
  18. All I need to do is melt this ice-lolly with my laser vision and then we can return the colour to your shorts.
