  1. Ah. So, then...when do we get SHIPtember MOC #2?
  2. For a moment, you see a faint shimmering around Lady Calaryl. "By remaining apart, we may gain nothing, but considering the fact that we do not want or need to interact with the villagers, we lose less than if we join together and have to risk the lives of our warriors protecting the village, as Sir Isaac desires." "I see. I will respect that, though my job now becomes that much more difficult. This means that I must find another building, most likely the meeting hall, and fortify that, making it even more imperative that I have all the help I can get in protecting the village. I do not complain with the merchants about elves armed and skilled in war; we complain about such elves controlling the stronghold of this village without knowing whether or not they are on our side. "I will offer the elves the peace of remaining in their keep, free from constant attacks by my men, if they will help me keep the village safe. I doubt based on what has been said that the elves will secretly behind their walls prepare to retake the village, and the merchants will trust them if they see them protecting the village and if the village's leadership is working with the elves." "Very well, if Sir Isaac will leave us alone, then we will do our part. Is there anything else that must be discussed?" QM Note: "We do not have one." "Certainly! Nothing to worry about. We could easily take three or four Pongcanae that make up a patrol." "At the risk of revealing our position and cooperation with the resistance..."
  3. How is this relevant to the topic?
  4. I'm inclined to believe the rumor for now, also. It could be that Utapau and Saleucami end up being two-faction BPs, as we've gotten for the last couple years, while DS and Kashyyyk are one-faction sets like BPs used to be, but rebranded as Army Builders to distinguish them from Utapau and Saleucami.
  5. Wow. Voting for this is going to be hard. Right now I think I give the edge to Fianat because of the statues and how well the architecture is done.
  6. Sir Abârlômi offers you a slice of bread and a piece of chicken as you walk inside. "In Patuqun? Lots of snow, lots of ice, mountains on two sides leading to some rivers that cut through high plains. Towering cliffs on one side; the plains slope down towards lower ground and swamps on the other." "Hunting Pongcanae? Now, that's something I like to hear. Action. We know of some Pongcanae staying in the larger houses to the east, where the richer merchants used to live. We could go now, in fact. Kill some of the brutes, keep our fighting skills sharp, return in time for luncheon." "Kadarphazân told us to stay here..." You return to the inn, where you see Nerwen, Boomingham, and Arthur speaking with a few humans and Lady Calaryl and her elves. "It's an issue of maintaining the safety and trust of the merchants. We can't attract merchants if the only fortified building in the village is packed full of armed and skilled elven warriors who aren't necessarily on our side. We want to see the elves let us have some space in the keep and — you are correct, Lord Boomingham — we want them to show that they'll help the village grow again by helping protect it." "What do the elves stand to gain from this? We don't want the villager's trust. We don't need the villager's trust."
  7. I attack Lord Marsh from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow.
  8. We were initially told that there would be four one-faction BPs, DS, Kashyyyk, Saleucami, and Utapau. The Saleucami set has now been shown to be something like a smaller, $20-range set with both factions in it, which throws some doubt on the Utapau set's existence.
  9. I love this build! So clean, so smooth, such great use of curves, but at the same time, so well-weathered with a great industrial, almost run-down look. Terrific use of textures in the brown, of different types of pipes and hoses, of different colors, of action, and of story.
  10. Huge improvement, excellent work! I love the color blocking with the dark green leading through the engines, tapering down the wing, and ending in the guns, and the way the angle in the dark green matches the angle in the trailing edge of the wing emulates the white tapering stripe on green on the nose and helps tie the color scheme of the whole ship together.
  11. Done!
  12. Put all the images in a ZIP file first and upload that. They should get unpacked automatically. (Or at least you were able to do that when I last used BS.)
  13. We don't know what you PM to each other; just remember this whenever you post, link to, direct towards, or upload prelim images: the images are not intended for you to see. So it would always be a good idea to consider that before you do something related to prelims.
  14. I like this idea. Nice work.
  15. Photobucket's good, but if you want no compression applied to your photos (I think you have to sign up for a beta version.), then you have to have a bandwidth limit per month for free accounts. (As I discovered when I accidentally put one of my Photobucket-hosted pictures on the EB frontpage and my allowed amount got used up in a matter of hours.) There's also Brickshelf, of course.
