Heroica RPG - Cruel Angel's Thesis ~ Day Two

Well, that's a very sensible argument that is based on logic and not entirely on your word.- 510 replies

Indeed.By the way, anyone who was outside the Hall in discussion of the possibility of killing himself — allegedly to prevent anyone from gaining XP from the kill — would be exhibiting giving up and not caring enough to fight at its most obvious.- 510 replies

The record books actually take the time of the last merged statement, so that would give him a five-minute window. Still unlikely, but a little longer.- 510 replies

If you read through my statement, you would know that it absolutely does matter. I have no way of knowing for sure that they actually were separate, but like I said, it seems unlikely. And even if they were separate, it's still Wishy-Washy Sheeping on your part.- 510 replies

Heroica RPG - Cruel Angel's Thesis ~ Day Two
Brickdoctor replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
That doesn't make sense. You could've just said, "Ezeal has convinced me". You did, actually, say something to that effect. But the fact that you included the first sentence, the criticism of the action, makes me think that you just wanted to be able to leave yourself a statement to point to and use to try to escape with if (or in your case, perhaps when) you turned out to be wrong about Kob. And it's highly unlikely that they were two different statements merged together, since the time window was very small and you yourself just said that you purposely phrased it that way.- 510 replies

Actions are automatically successful. We usually have a good idea of how much Damage we can do; we just don't know how much HP the target has or whether or not he has any Defense or is being healed.- 510 replies

I don't believe that's what's being suggested; the fact that Piro is one of those capable of using a magical attack is just something supporting our other suspicions.- 510 replies

They why didn't you just say that? Actually, I'm pretty sure that Eris made her accusation before Fleyra did the wishy-washyness.- 510 replies

Oh, right, you never did explain that, either. Just kept avoiding the questions. And if I remember correctly, you said that before Fleyra did the wishy-washy statement that I and at least a few other heroes find suspicious.- 510 replies

Fleyra made a statement Yesterday in which she criticized your attack and then suddenly changed her mind in the same statement. There was another hero's statement five minutes before Fleyra's and another one minute after. I find it hard to believe that Fleyra was critical of the move in public, then was convinced to become "very supportive in private talk about the plan", and then stated that in public, all within six minutes.- 510 replies

Because he was suspected, of course! And his suspiciousness was mentioned in public Yesterday. I mentioned it at least twice.- 510 replies

Assuming that that's a power granted by an item (which is the only logical assumption I can make), why are you saying this in public?- 510 replies

I Cover Calico Meatpie (CallMePie). It looks like Heron was probably a kill the scum considered safe, not being prominently active or suspicious and thus unlikely to watched, protected, healed, etc., who would have low HP. And I assume that Kob is raised as part of Retak's power, not as an independent hero, because he's still listed among the dead. So, what was the result of Yesterday's investigation?- 510 replies

Not everything has to parallel the real world and its myths. We typically borrow names and the like because they sound right. (Because they're from an actual myth or because they were created by someone like Tolkien who was essentially paid to think about that sort of thing.)

Heroica RPG - Quest #77: Your Elves are Better than Ours
Brickdoctor replied to Brickdoctor's topic in The Heroica Archive
The Party in the Keep: "That does not answer the question, master dwarf; my patience wears thin. Why are you here to speak to me? What do you try to convince me to do? You have established the situation that you claim to find yourself in; now speak of why this should concern me." The Party at the Warehouses: You move to the last warehouse. You see nothing out of the ordinary. Listening at the door, you don't hear anything inside, either. -

Sandy said, "a little over", which doesn't really define an amount of time. Two hours seems reasonable. -
