Heroica RPG - Cruel Angel's Thesis ~ Day Two
Brickdoctor replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
I was invited to a private conversation to see how this was planned, and I saw something scummy. I'm not going to just sit here and do nothing about it. What I just pointed out applies to Fleyra as well. And by the way, nowhere in your private conversation did I see something particularly helpful from Piro that I would consider reason to protect him.- 510 replies

Heroica RPG - Cruel Angel's Thesis ~ Day Two

It's rather obvious that some of us have worked together; we've never denied. On the other hand, I'm looking at your PM conversation, and you planned to try to avoid attention and distance yourself from each other: So that definitely seems scummy to me, that you fear accusing someone and killing him and being known to have done it together. I will grant you this: your conversation has been going on for long enough that I do not believe all of you are scum. But that doesn't mean that some of you aren't.- 510 replies

If, according to you, my mentioning his suspiciousness Yesterday in thread doesn't mean anything, then I fail to see how you can say that we're scummy for supposedly not having mentioned it.- 510 replies

As far as I'm concerned, the list is the least important bit of evidence against you. (As well it should be, since I've had no experience with characters like Pauline in previous situations.) We've stated our multiple reasons other than the list for suspecting you.- 510 replies

I love how well this fits into the canonical story of Empire, and I do like that trans-blue tower. Reminds me of the shield generators in Battlefront II. And once again, your extensive use of grilles is perfect. Question: Is this taking place outside the Falcon, in a facility in Cloud City? I ask because of how squarish the walls are.

Yes, good idea; combining that with what you suggested earlier, we should question U'Dargon and find out who fired the handcannon and cast the spells that killed innocent heroes at range. I definitely agree with that; we should start doing that right away.Wait.- 510 replies

So you say that anyone who didn't use an action wasn't particularly helpful...let's see...who was someone who didn't use an action in public Yesterday? Oh, how about...Piro the Visionary! He must not have been particularly helpful.- 510 replies

We showed you quoted public statements. You are the one who just says "Look at what happened in private that I won't detail!".- 510 replies

That answers the question of 'Where?' (which we never asked, by the way); it does not answer the question of 'Why?'.- 510 replies

Actually, no, you never explained it until you said this: It's nice how you accuse us of doing something without a good reason, yet you're the one who acted based on something none of us can see while we can clearly point to things done in public that prompted our actions. Which brings more harm, protecting someone who can kill us or killing someone who isn't helping at all?- 510 replies

We never asked for your powers. We've explained why we did what we did; I want to know why you did what you did. Stop avoiding the question.- 510 replies

Playing outside the Hall to apologize or explain your own inactivity, yes, it is a scum action. I've seen it before. Of course we took it public because he survived. There was absolutely no reason for him to be protected if he wasn't scum. He did nothing positive Yesterday.- 510 replies

The attack during the Night was coordinated in light of the suspicious activities of Piro Yesterday, which I will not list because they have already been detailed multiple times. Ezeal and his group are not believed to be trustworthy because of how they behaved outside of and in reference to the attack and because of what one of them is capable of doing compared to attacks that happened, not because of the attack itself. Actually, Ezeal is the only one who we know for certain killed a hero.- 510 replies

Zarissa has admitted to being the third spellcaster, and has already given up her gem to demonstrate her cooperation. No, that doesn't make any sense. Actions can be changed later. Attack now, to lessen the chances of scum getting a protecting or healing action in, and change actions later if the suspects convincingly argue their innocence. Besides, at this point, questioning might very well not make a difference.- 510 replies

I don't think any of us suspect that at the moment, we just have to remember the possibility, since you weren't actually shown Covering in the conclusion. (And neither was my Covering or Zpilf's Hiding or Jinnipher's Blocking)- 510 replies
