  2. That post together with your avatar just made me laugh. I don't know why...

  4. I don't know how to set a background in POV-ray, although it is possible (I think). You can always just render with transparant background and photoshop the background in there. If you just want to remove that horizon line, you can also use some fog (but in the far distance, so it won't make the model vague).
  5. I'm not totally sure what your problem is It would be nice if you can make 1 (or 2) sentence with the problem or question. Anyway, if you want to set the render format, just click on the drop-down menu in the top-left corner of pov-ray where you can see (in your image) "512x384". You can add more resolutions by adding the resolution.ini
  6. 130 hours?! You have a lot of patience. I hope you've checked with lower settings if the render looks good
  7. Although they are .png now, they still haven't a transparant background. EDIT: it seems Mister Phes said this at the exact same time...
  8. I spent around 15/20 minutes on that one using the magic wand tool with different settings and the eraser tool with different settings in Adobe Photoshop CS6. I also used different color backgrounds to find any wrong spots, but I couldn't find any more... I'll take another look at them later today, because I have to go now.
  9. Yes, I was already trying to soften the lines as they look very ugly. It would be easier if the images were a higher resolution EDIT: I hope it's better now:
  10. I've edited some photo's from Sebeus I from the old submission topic. I hope they're good enough, if not, please say You can view and download them here, I can try doing some more later today
  11. Some words look a bit like Dutch, I think I can understand it without a translator (although I can't really translate it by myself)
  12. As you can see in the booklet that Gnac linked, these models only have only a few pictures and no instructions. This was with many Designer Sets back then.
  13. Probably most of the people already know the magazine. And even if they don't, this is not the right subforum to discuss a magazine in general. These things need to go in General LEGO subforum.
  14. What a funny photo! Merkel is looking like "what's this shit construction?" and the left guy is looking to the right guy and thinks "watch out! She's gonna break your moc down!"

  16. Well, then I can confirm it also works in Office 2013 Professional
  17. I don't know where it went, but here is one from my pc
  18. Well, I think you're settings aren't just "very super ultra high" Just for fun; try to render a LDD model using LDD to POV-ray and choose some of the high settings: it will take hours if not days with some very good equipment Especially transparant bricks can take much time...
  19. Thanks for your great models! Note that renderig isn't neccesary, other images are good as wel. Your images are already good enough, but that doesn't mean you may not render
  20. I think they will build it. At least for the fun of it
  21. You bought all of this in 3 years, I'm envious Anyway, could (and want) you make a picture of your sets too? I'm particuarly intersted in how you stored them?
  22. Nice renders, especially the first one I think it would be useful to people if you also tell how you imported them into Maya? Exporting using LDview maybe? A nice fact: the Lego digital modelers use Maya too. They have their own private collection of digital parts
  23. I was looking at the pics before reading the comment, so I was thinking "that's an huge amount of parts (e.g. the big gears or engine blocks). Then I read the comment.... Only spare parts!!!! Man, you have a lot, but I think you knew that I'm wondering though: why? Why do you need SO MUCH of everything? A box full of suspension, a box full of engine blocks, a box full of.... Why?
  24. I moved your post to the correct topic Please use this one if you can't find a brick. You can find the brick in the category with a headlight brick picture, the 3rd category.
  25. They're going down a snowy hill on a surf board. You just discovered a new sport!
