  1. Ah, you beat me! I saw the instructions online this morning, but I had to go, with the intention to make the model when I would come home You don't need to put them in the public folder. That was needed a loooong time ago, but now all files and folders are linkable and shareable
  2. Nice LSynth work And although they all were created earlier, they don't have the name tile, because it wasn't created back then. I have to update my models to include them...
  3. Hi Angmarec. Thanks for your models But, please don't forget to add the theme(s) from the sets.
  4. Well, on my newly fresh windows 7, SR3D Builder didn't worked with DirectX 11 and .NET Framework 4.5, but it does work with DirectX 9 and .NET Framework 4.5...
  5. Well, as I said before, try the following: download and install LDview Save the model as an LDraw file in leocad (File > save as > choose save as ldr file) Open the model in LDview Go to File > Export > and choose POV-Ray Before hitting save, click on the options button and make sure all your settings are right I hope this helps
  6. You don't need .NET framework 2.0, the newest (4.0 or 4.5 I believe) works too. Because it has backwards compatibility
  7. That's weird. A few weeks ago, I wiped out my whole pc (hard disk) to start with a fresh windows 7 64 bit (also SP 1 and DirectX) and I normally installed DirectX 9....
  8. Looks really, really good You also could just render with a transparant background, and add a background in photoshop. I think...
  9. Looks good. Reminds me of the "alternate" models Nathanael made (which can be seen on brickshelf or mocpages). A few months ago, I wanted to create LDraw models of them and create good building instructions... Thank god I haven't done that I think it's a bit expensive at $20 for 136 pages, but often Amazon has these Lego books on pre-order sale.
  10. Nice render. You really made a little scene of it
  11. Do you get the message in POV-Ray, LDview or in LeoCad?
  12. Well, the message says: a newer or equal version of directX is allready installed. an installation is not neccessary. So, maybe you already have DirectX 9, but it is corrupt?
  13. I don't see any mistakes, although I would recommend to remove the last path in your POVRAY.INI. It locates and old path (the old LDraw installer installed LDraw direct in C:\, while the new installer installs it nicely in the program files folder). I don't know if it's needed, but you never know if there will be any conflicts Oh, another tip: I think it's better to export your leocad file to an LDraw file (.ldr) and export it to pov-ray with LDview. LDview has some nice export options like smooth curves and I think (not sure) it automaticly includes the LGEO parts (but you still need to inlcude the path in the .INI).
  14. It depends on your render settings and the amount of transparant parts in the model. So, a bit more information would be useful
  15. This. Except that I don't have all build sets yet (I'm not going to buy speedorz), but it's my goal this year.
  16. Maybe I can post my building desk here too. It's not all Technic, but my main goal is to build technic (but with the model-team style) Work area by legolijntje, on Flickr Work area by legolijntje, on Flickr More pictures on my Flickr
  17. Nice moc. I don't really like the big gear at the front, but it's Lego Technic, so gears need to be there for a reason . Please note that images on EuroBricks may not be larger than 800x600, as stated in the guidelines here. Please resize them, or make link to the images
  18. I appears that I already have 97.2% I thought I would've way less to build the model...
  19. Nice, I already had a very good program for this. I saw it on the Brickset forums, but it needed MatLab to run the software. I wanted to make a Visual Basic program of it with a GUI, but my knowledge was (and is) too basic to make something like this. I'll defenitly look into your program.
  20. I too have DirectX 9 (for sr3d) and another version.
  21. I've merged this in the normal sr3d topic, since other bugs, problems and questions are reported here too
  22. 20 EUR is a lot for some instructions, in my opinion at least. I would have expected something like 10 EUR. I do understand the price, though. I know how much work some instructions can cost... Anyway, thanks for the instructions , but I´m not going to buy them now, maybe later. Thanks Sheepo and Jurgen!
  23. I don't want to say that TanTile's silhouette is bad, but I didn't liked the rough lines it has, so I made my own version (which isn't perfect either, it's not really from the front, but a slight angle). You can download the 2658x4168 px .png file here What do you want to do with it? The example link isn't working? Just curious...
  24. Yes, I wanted that too, a big set image at the top of the page, but I wasn't quite sure how to incorporate that And, no I'm not a forklift fan
