This 0-6-0T (which in LEGO form can only have four wheels under the side covers, making it technically a 0-4-0T) steam tram is based on London and North Eastern Railway J70 type steam tram as used on the Wisbech & Upwell tramway. This specific engine is better known to Railway Series / Thomas and Friends fans as North Western Railway No. 7, AKA Toby the tram engine. (Of course he is accompanied by his ever-present coach Henrietta.) The design for Toby was originally a 7-wide model designed by @ScotNick. I first made the loco in real life back in 2014 in tan, before tearing it apart due to the issues with structural strength. I revised it digitally in 2020 to be 6 wide and have better magnetic couplers, as the original Technic pin one (as built way back in 2014) would them pull right off if handling a train. Toby's faithful coach Henrietta was digitally designed around 2020, and now has finally been finished in real bricks. NOTE: This MOC marks the end of my journey across Sodor making the eight famous engines in LEGO - Thomas, Edward, Henry, Gordon, James, Percy, Toby, Duck - along with a few extras engines as well, like Diesel, Lady, Murdoch, and Diesel 10 and some road vehicles and coaches. Time will tell if I ever get enough room to take a group photo like I really want to!
