  1. Hello and welcome here! Can you tell us something more about yourself, where you live, what your favourite themes are etc.? We have a special thread for it: Hello, my name is... Well... this is The Lego Fans Community, so any relation to Lego is most welcome but why don't you just tell what you have. :-)
  2. Tssss...... :-P By the way, how about five-wide-cars, they are nice too? :-) (click)
  3. I voted 4 studs wide. As a classic-town (80's 90's) fan I own about 200 different cars, most of which are in four wide. Four wide is standard for me. I do like the variety in studs, some older vehicles were in 6 wide (mostly larger trucks, cranes etc.) but still I think Lego is about four-studs-wide-cars. Lego (cars) will never really be true to scale and that has it's charms: just look at the pistols, knives, apples, banana's, croissants.... how true to scale are those? Isn't that great? I think it is! *y*
  4. Sorry to have digged up such an old poll, but I just had to vote for the 6399 Airport shuttle when I came across it....
  5. Yes, some lot.... besides: that is the same part as I mentioned before, no sticker.
  6. Welcome Jeremy from France! I am sure you will enjoy your time here, there are not many threads about Fabuland, although it's a nice theme, maybe you can start some? :-)
  7. Don't go around insulting Her Majesty mr Wout! |-/ :-P You are right about the hair though, it'll never grow the natural way like this, some wax?
  8. Always nice to have another pretty lady on our forums :-D Just joking, welcome to Eurobricks enjoy your time here! :-)
  9. Okay, okay you won, I surrender.... It indeed is an owl :-/ X-D
  10. ?? X-O
  11. This set seems to be already for sale on a Dutch website for 24,95 and I found an image of it, behold: Nice basic set with some special parts.
  12. I don't know if this has been posted somewhere before, but I found some large pictures of the new Marketstreet set on Brickshelf. There has been a Dutch Legoclub-meeting and the person who designed Marketstreet apparently was there with his creation: (The thumbnails are clickable) The sign in the first picture says: "Unique! Worldpremiere. This model was designed by Erik Brok and will be available in stores soon"
  13. I once bought a lot of arches like this and the larger ones like this for the more classic looking viaduct. It won't even be necessary to put any panels on top. The cafe corner fits in the classical feeling For an example, click here. Your city is starting to grow nicely by the way, good luck!
  14. Let's quote myself for a change *sweet* I bought an additional pirateset since I filled in this humble list above... here it is: 6249 Pirates Ambush
  15. I would say Bricklink or Ebay, but that was all mentioned in the other thread. If you are really desperate: try posting an ad in your local newspaper asking someone to sell you a used BSB, either the original one or the re-issue. In Holland we have a special internet portal for that but I guess it works with newspapers in the UK. Worth a try. There's a Dutch saying: "Nooit geschoten altijd mis" (If you never shoot you will for sure miss your target, one can always try). We had a beautiful little discussion about this, check it out here!
  16. Here we go again, another poll, I like it, I like it.... I voted for the Blacksmith's wife because that's the only of the pictured women I have, but definetely the best looking! To all of you who haven't got the Blacksmith shop: buy it, it's a lovely building *y*
  17. I bought most of the Adventurers line with dinosaurs, those beasts were nicely done (much too small, but it didn't bother me at the time...). If, however, Lego were to release another dinosaurs line I would personally refrain from purchasing.
  18. I own about 550 official Legosets, maybe 6 of those are space.... Never interested much in space, but I like some of the bases, that's why I voted for the first one in the list, classic all the way. :-)
  19. This is your chance, Islanderboy, to actually buy a real Islanderset yourself and start a collection. Just type in the desired set's number on Ebay, place a bid, win and start building! :'-)
  20. Mine has that as well, I believe Lego printed it in the first place. Apparently they thought we are all unable to count! :-D
  21. I haven't read anything about that, do you have a link or something?
  22. Welcome to the forum Devastator! You seem to have quite an extended Brickshelf folder containing really beatutiful MOC's, I love the little house with the tentacles and the Jedi Defense scene, great. People like yourself are gladly accepted in this community. Your English expressing skills are not in the least defective: immaculate I must say *y* Enjoy your time here. :-)
  23. Welcome Lego-Freak! Your username sounds promising enough to expect loads of MOC's from your hand ;-) Have fun around here! :-)
  24. I would like that: I vote (yay another poll!) for the next poll to be about fire-engines :-D
  25. I voted for Casewindu's car with the pipes, great design for such a small vehicle. No one voted for me...... :-/
