It looks like he fed that little motorbike some steroids.... it started growing,...and growing,...and growing and it became a moonrover :-D But you're right, very smart indeed.

V-LV-09F Hello my fellow Eurobrickers, I found a brickshelf folder containing this beautifully designed little motorbike, based entirely on this piece. Ingenious I think. I wonder however what the otherside of this machine looks like... Enjoy! (picture is link to gallery)

Welcome Lieutenant Colonel Thok (quite a long name) to this forum. You indeed have a good taste of music, I am listening to the Beatles as I type this ("Got to get you into my life"), got to get you into this forum.... Enjoy! :-)

Welcome here! Very nice scenery, with great eye for detail in the landscaping. Are you going to built an entire layout using this techniques? Keep up the good work. *y*

Today (a few minutes ago actually) I bought the 9 volt trainset: 4543 Railroad Tractor Flatbed, off ebay for just 17 euros complete with instructions but no box. No all I have to do is wait for it to reach me. I wonder at which speed the tractor will start flying off the flatbed when my freighttrain is thundering through the curves.... *skull*

Thanks! I never had any affection considering those mirrors (they are placed too low anyway) and if I can choose between mirrors or doors, I'd say: Doors! Great job on the Garbage/recycling truck, it looks great with those seats inside and the way you made the cab fit two minifigs. I might even buy this set and perform the same modifications. :-)

Great promo's (especially the lifeguard set)! I happen to go on a cycling holiday through Belgium and France, so with a bit of luck I should be able to get these sets. It would sure be nice if Lego decided to make another beach related theme. :-)

Welcome Brickadier General! I seem to be four months older then you (six months older than Starwars4J..) :-D I like your Ghostbusters Cadillac, great model with all those lovely details and still on minifigscale. Always nice to see another town-fan (my favorite set of all time is the Airport Shuttle as well and I recently succeeded in obtaining it). Have fun here! :-)

database over the castle items wanted
simonwillems replied to starwarsdk's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I often use Bricklink to see what sets are made of a certain theme, just fill in 'castle' and everything should pop up on your screen. Enjoy! :-) -
All very impressive modifications to those fine models! The great thing about our beloved toy: you can make something new everyday and keep modifying it until it's perfect. After buying the new city police-motorcycle (to stick with motorcycles right now..) I made a timeline of policebikes through the years. From the seventies upto now, behold: (Sorry for the large pic, I couldn't get it resized and there is lots to see...) Bigger picture The origin of Motorcycles Brickshelf EDIT Mr Tiber: I resized the pic for you, but because you said there's lots to see, I left a link to the bigger picture. ;-)

Nice thread *y* I do have one example of an MOC-evolution to show you, but I often find myself changing and modifying the things I create. I made a motorcycle once, and later modified it, using the same chassis, to make a completely different police design. (Thumbnails clickable) From this Brickshelf to this Brickshelf

Hey, I never saw that one! It is however not available in my country because like I said before: every country has it's own storage systems. Nice device, looks a lot like the old storage things TLC sold us years ago. Not that cheap, but I wouldn't say it's very overpriced.

Welcome Badgerboy to the Eurobricks community! Your Brickshelf looks impressive, I like your Mustang/Aston Martin, great use of those new roof elements. What exactly is the location of that home? Have fun here! :-)

Someone's gotten the Sith Infiltrator
simonwillems replied to Two-Faced Batman Fan's topic in LEGO Star Wars
:-D I think the original is far better than this new thing! The curves from the old version may not be as smooth as the ones in the new version, but at least the old one was made using Lego instead of big <insert that tiresome argument> pieces of plastic. I wouldn't buy this new infiltrator because of those pieces, it just doesn't look like TLC put a lot of effort in this model to make it a good and well designed set, the old one looked more sophisticated. Just my point of view here, I am sure lots of other Star Wars fans will enjoy the new version, I just loved the old one and am glad to own it. -
Which Official Pirate LEGO Sets Do You Have?
simonwillems replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Congratulations! I am still trying to get my hands on that set, but I see you succeeded to do so. *sweet* -
Let me use my 500th post to post in this topic (I must be a Knight by now...) I am listening right now to the greatest band the world has ever seen: The Beatles - I'm looking through you. *wub*

8436 Pic Review
simonwillems replied to Stauder's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Nice review (they are not that large those pics)! Though I don't own this set it does appeal to me in a certain way, it looks like a decent truck with some nice pieces. You are having a hard time living in Malta with such high Lego prices....! :-) -
Welcome Henrik! It seems that you are standing at the beginning of an impressive collection, there are many many great sets out there, you just need to find them. Enjoy your time here! :-)
-
Nice idea this! I like the way you made the front wheels on the tractor, that airplane piece is just spot on *y* :-)

Someone's gotten the Sith Infiltrator
simonwillems replied to Two-Faced Batman Fan's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks for the link to those pictures! I can not say that I like the model, it looks a bit cheap and <insert that tiresome argument> with those large pieces on the front end and the fold-out wings in the back. I have the original version and I have to say that while other sets (MTT Naboo fighter) might have improved in the re-release this set has taken a few steps (giant leaps) back on the improving scale. Where, by the way, are the Sith Probe Droids, in the old version depicted with black mf heads and antenna's? It looks smaller than the old version, am I right? -
Great index, and even greater: I'm in it! Thanks for making this, I'm sure it took a lot of time searching and getting it together. *y*

Huge quantity Lego SW figs for sale on eBay
simonwillems replied to jamtf's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
The one thing I would expect when somebody offers Star Wars minifigs in great numbers like this are entire armies of Battle Droids. There are only three though, and not even normal ones....? X-O -
Are they? I love the Adventurers serie, and the Indiana Jones movies, but adventurers style Lego with fleshies.... :-/

O.K. This is how my room looked approx. one year ago, before I moved to Amsterdam and left my Lego behind in my parents house (so there's more room now for the hobby!) When I was a kid I used to have everything lying around (like Zouave said) and had to perform some expierienced jumping to reach any part of my room... I posted a thumbnail because it's quite a large photo, just click and it will enlarge Brickshelf folder
