  1. Set 31052 is really well done and it offers three very different models - RV, ship and house. So what can I add? Plane! It is inspired by LEGO City Ambulance Plane (set 60116) and uses just about half of set parts. I think it's not bad result for limited time and effort I've put in. It features opening windscreen, cargo door and roof. Last but main feature is described in little bonus story bellow. BONUS STORY Somewhere in wilderness... The plane is really able to carry bear - this is a proof:
  2. It looks great. You can do it even better by adding some figure - minifig is too small so it should be brick built figure sitting on bench.
  3. I have to say your convertible looks much better than original one. You can try to build something more original next time.
  4. I have to say dinosaur is better than on preliminary pictures but it is still too poor in comparison with other Creator animals from last years. I like green convertible most because it looks like remake of set 31017 (orange convertible) that was awesome raw material for alternative models.
  5. I've really used this set for inspiration. Main difference between my dragster and dragster from set 8422 is that mine has seat in front of engine and dragster from 8422 has it behind engine.
  6. Thank you all for your comments. I'm happy you like my dragster.
  7. I can see them on different devices and when I am log out too. I don't know where is problem...
  8. Since I recently got LEGO Technic set 42036 and didn't built anything out of Technic for a long time I've decided to rebuild this motorbike into vehicle with four wheels. It was bigger challenge than I expected. I had to use few uncommon asseblies: replace front wheels by gears with chain replace connector in crankshaft by liftarm replace pair of bevel gears by bunch of connectors - this solution was proposed by Victor Imaginator Finished dragster features just V4 fake engine with moving pistons. I planed to add steering but I didn't have enough parts for it.
  9. Thank you. I haven't known about sidewinder style dragsters. This information may solve this whole problem with no bevel gears in way that I don't need them at all. 4 cylinder engine is not bad. It's much better than 2 cylinder engine...
  10. I want to build dragster and it would look pretty strange if it has engine crankshaft perpendicular to axis of vehicle... Victor's solution needs 7 studs of space between liftarms and I think I can handle it. I was thinking about using flex axles instead of universal joints but I'm not sure it would work properly and for long time without damaging ends of axles.
  11. It sounds interesting too. I will try it but I'm affraid it will grind tire and damage it.
  12. Thank you, Victor. It looks clever and compact enough. I will use it for driving fake engine by wheels so it is minimal torque.
  13. Thanks for reply. I need to need to turn driven axle by 90 degrees just with help of part from set 42036. I doesn't contain any knob wheels eather...
  14. I would like to know if anyone of you found any compact replacement assembly of pair of bevel gears in setup shown below? I want to build alternative model out of set 42036 (motorbike) that doesn't contain any bevel or crown gear but I need to turn driven axle by 90 degrees. Do you have any idea how to do it only with parts from set 42036? Thanks
  15. Good job Peteris! I like your alternative models especially classic cabrio, tumbler and tricycle. Several of your alternates look very similar - for example SUV and offroader. What about building something different than another car? You can try to build plane or helicopter...
  16. As it was written above I've got email from them too and got suspicious. So I've made them contact Nathan Thom from Rebrickable and later gave them permission for showing my models. Basically it's just another promotion for my web site so I'm fine with it.
  17. I'm little bit disappointed by breaking "cute animals" line. There is not any animal set in next wave. Even set with dinosaurs doesn't fit in this line because it doesn't feature round tiles with eye pattern. Only sets that interest me are hydroplane (it looks like that one from Disney's Tale Spin series) and mini steam engine. I hope second half of 2017 will be better or I will save more money on LEGO.
  18. Good job! Your Brickheadz are cool and I like Gandalf most.
  19. Very good alternate. Good job!
  20. WOW! Animals are my favorite MOCs and yours are just awesome. I like your style - keeping everything small and simple. The first model that touched me was pig - it was really clever to use Technic beam for snout. And frog and lion are so cute. Good job and looking for other animals - I hope you will keep on building them.
  21. I have to say this is very funny and interesting concept - car with pedals. Thumbs up!
  22. I like your model - it's very well recognizable and I can imagine it as Architecture set. By the way how are those pins and Technic beams connected to the rest of model? Have you used bars?
  23. What a cool model! Although Carrera GT is my favorite Porsche I didn't recognize it in your model at first sight. It was caused by red color because I've seen it in silver only. I also like how you made rising of rear spoiler - it's simple and looks accurate.
  24. What a cute model! I like such well done minimalistic models. Good luck in contest!
