Signed! I, unfortunately, missed out on this theme.

Garbage... I was hoping for some decent piece pack or something, this doesn't even look like LEGO.

I've been reading and looking at pictures of the Atlantis theme for the last few weeks or so and my excitement level has gone form about a "meh " to somewhere up around . I've never been this excited about a non-castle/pirates/license line. The figs look absolutely awesome and the vechicles and color scheme look great. I'm really looking forward to this theme. Like others have said, hopefully there will be more non-vechicle sets in the future (like temples or ruins).

Great Review. I got two of these sets: One opened and built and one MIB.

This set holds a special spot in my heart. I still remember when my grandfather and I went out on the town one day back in 1993 and he bought me this set. Rest in Peace.

What if LEGO changed the name of the Castle theme?
BearHeart replied to -The Hyphen-'s topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Finally, someone 's making some sense. I was thinking the same think as you HK as I was reading through 4 pages of, in my opinion, useless discussion. I don't care what they call the theme as long as we keep getting kickass medieval sets. -
Everything is different.... except of the color scheme.
-
And what about the SpeedRacer license. The movie flopped and so did the sets.

WOW! This is new is a huge shock to me!! I was sure that the Pirates theme was here to stay for the next couple of years at least. I was personally hoping for an imperial ship in the next wave. LEGO has done so many things right in the last couple of years with its choice of new themes that this news is hard to believe. I guess with the rumors of POTC LEGO on the horizon this move would make sense since LEGO wouldn't want two pirate lines competing with each other.

WOW! I bet this set is gonna be even harder to find than the graveyard ambush one. Four new figs, plus lots of rare parts (apples and minifig baskets). I can't wait to get my grubby hands on this one!!

REVIEW: Indiana Jones 7196 Chauchilla Cemetery Battle
BearHeart replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'm definitely getting this set. I'm sure this set is gonna be really popular (with all the unique pieces) so Im gonna scoop it up the first chance I get. -
Unfortunately, I got out of my 10 year dark age at about the time that KKII was in full swing. I agree that the good guys in the KKII line were terrible, I hated the colors and especially those awfull "space" swords. However, I feel the bad guys were pretty well done. They fit pretty well into the current Castle line as an evil human faction. Vladek's dark fortress was a decent evil-looking castle set as well.

I bought this set for the minifig alone . I also like the fact that it came with 3 "diamond" jewel pieces.

Nice Review! I got this set myself back in 2006. It was the only copy at the store ( must have been sitting in their storage room for about 5 years!). I love the ghost fig.
-
Nice work. Maybe you can add some trees or shrubs around the outside.
-
Flying Wing an AAT... nice!!! I was hoping for those....

I only started collecting Star Wars LEGO in 2006 so Im only gonna comment on the sets that I have. The worst designed set has to be the drop ship: Its just a bunch of left over pieces thrown together as an excuse to sell the battlepacks.

I second that, ma'man! I like fleshies better than yellow too... I got too many yellows and not enough fleshies. As for most useless pieces, how about any technic beams. They look really ugly with all those holes on the sides. They're ok to use in strictly technic models but they look bad when used in other themes.

If she thinks its a "childish hobby" then how about you take up some teenage hobbies... like smoking, alcohol and women. Im sure she'll be happy to see her boy all grown up.

Thanks for the comments guys. Im glad you enjoyed it. I was thinking of doing more dino/orc mixed but, alas, I was unable to get any more of the old dino figs (I bought this one on eBay). I really want to get my hands on a big brontasaurus.... I also have the Spinosaurus from the Jurassic Park set so I might do something with that...

Ok, so I recently bought and put together the Troll Assault Wagon set. I didnt like the design of the wagon at all!! Here's something I came up with using mostly pieces from that set: ORC WAR THRONE: And a close up of the Chief

Very nice job on the penguin sub... I just put that set together last nite and I want to mod it too. Your mod is a good inspiration.

Review: 7884 Batman - The Buggy: The Escape of Mr Freeze
BearHeart replied to ???theriddler???'s topic in LEGO Licensed
I just bought this set yesterday... wow, what a waste of $12 CAD. The two buggies are pretty bland and I have no use for the batman fig. The only thing I like is the Mr Freeze fig. -
Hmmm... how about you send them to me, I'll give them a good home... PM me with and I'll send you my mailing adress

... why?
