  1. What I like: Green Dragon, tonnes of figs. New parts(jail door), new shield logos What I disslike: Green Dragon has armour printing on it, those new swords look to me made of that 'soft' plastic,
  2. My biggest surprise was the upcoming Indiana Jones line. That totally came out of the blue for me and I didn't believe the rumours at first.
  3. I want this set too... but with the correct qui gon head!
  4. That would be so awesome if you did :-)
  5. I was watching EPI a few nights ago and I kept thinking to myself: When will LEGO make a minifig scale Starcruiser finally!!
  6. Hmmmm. Interesting news about the new set. I wonder if its the only set that going to contain dwarves and trolls. Seeing those pictures a few days ago I thought that dwarves and trolls will be the new factions in 2008.
  7. I love the look of the minifig, I was kind of expecting recycled Adventurers stuff. I see lots of potential with this liscence. Hopefully, it will take off like the SW liscence did and not fizzle out like Spiderman or Batman did.
  8. Yeah, that would be the easiest and best way for LEGO to handle it. Smiley Face Nazis ON!
  9. WOW, this is great news!! I like the variety in sizes/prices of the sets (not just big sets). The descriptions of the sets sound very promising. Only thing I'm really worried about is how the bad guys will look (Nazis). If I remember correctly from the movies, the 'motorcycle chase' and 'race for the stolen treasure' would contain Nazi soldiers.
  10. Well, I do hope your scoop is correct. I like the sound of those sets and seeing them as early as January 2008 instead of when the movie comes out in May would be great too.
  11. Exactly, there are only a few members on here that the EB community trusts. And thats because they have been correct in the past.
  12. No where in the article does it say that anyone is suing anyone. As for for your "suck" comment. why don't you wait until we get more new other than "there are rumors of LEGO doing Indiana Jones" before passing such harsh judgment (like maybe some actual PICS of the sets) :-| :-| :-|
  13. LOL... you have any links to back this up.. :-D
  14. I second that X-D
  15. Elves are sometimes portrayed in pictures as having light green skin. I just suggested a different color than yellow to avoid the whole human vs. human deal. Green skin would just make them look non-human.
  16. Well... I was planning to post this thread in a few weeks but since I saw the New Castle Set Ideas thread I thought I'd post this one. With a rather open-ended storyline, I think there is a lot of possibility for creativity and longevity in the new Castle theme. Its basically the Good King and his knights versus the evil Wizard and his skeleton army. I think this is a really easy concept to expand on.... simply add different, evil or mischievous factions that the King and his Knighs would be up against. So what are some of your ideas for different factions the Crown Knight could go up against? Here are my ideas... A band of goblins living in the hills constantly raids the Crown Kingdom. This sub theme could include a hill fort, a loot cave, new goblin minifigs, wolf-riders, and a neat green/tan color scheme. Mischievous elves living in the forest rob the King of his treasure. This would basically be a new version of forestmen but with light green skin. It would include you basic forest faction elements like tree bases, bows, lots of foilage... etc. Another evil wizard has created a mechanical golem army and tries to take over the Crown Kingdom. This theme would include a white wizards tower, golem minifigs (different colors) and lots of mechanical siege machinery.
  17. I'd like a small village ( 2 or 3 cottages,a few peasants ) being attacked by a green dragon... and and maybe a group of rangers trying to defeat him.
  18. I'd personally like to see a return of Johnny Thunder, but and Indiana Jones license is the next best thing. I just wonder if they'd go back to the older movies and redo scenes from those too. Either way, I'd definitely get all of the IJ sets for however long the theme would last.
  19. Thanks for the pics, I can't wait for this set to show up at my local TRU store.
  20. I dont really think thats possible, given that they're skeletons 8-
  21. I got goosebumps reading this... I've been a huge fan of Indy since I was a kid. However, Im not holding my breath...
  22. Same thing in Canada... except not HP yet 8-|
  23. I just bought this set yesterday, and apart from a misprinted armour piece, I'm really liking this set. I'm planning on doing some mods to it including adding a bottom floor and some back walls. One of the great aspects of this set is that its actually an enclosed structure with good depth rather than just a front wall like some of the KK2 sets, although, the design of the back is very lacking. Another thing I like is the dragon (who seem to be getting a bad rap from other members :'-( ). I wasn't sure what to expect after seeng pictures of it but once I put it together I came to the conclusion that its an awesome addition to the theme. The parts are made out of very solid and high-quality material. The printing (especially the head) look great and fits very well into the overall fairytale, good vs evil fantasy feel of the whole theme. The dragon has enough joints to strike some neat posses, such as flying, standing, attacking, etc. ( a good improvement over the viking bionicle dragons who in my mind had too much joints and were too flimsy). I'm hoping that maybe in future sets we'll get a blue/gold dragon with a different head for the good king to ride on.
  24. I just bought this set yesterday and I gotta say, the actual model look even better than any pic I've seen of it. This is a very well thought out set by LEGO, I love how the cage can be removed from the wagon and the wagon used as a troop transport. The skeleton horses are made of a hard, smooth plastic that make them seem very durable and of high quality. I will definitely pick up one or two more copies of this set sometime in the next months *y*
  25. I was talking about the armour. Nowhere in my post did I ever mention anything about a torso (which are blank to begin with) :-| :-| :-| Did you contact LEGO about this? And did they send you a replacement piece?
