I'd like to see.... - Romans - Egyptians (pyramids, chariots) - Arabs (with camels) - Gunpowder era empires (like the imperial soldiers from the past Pirates line) - Victorian era (maybe some sci-fi steampunk) - Colonization/Exploration era - Native Americans, Mayans, Incans

I just purchased a copy of 7093 Skeleton Tower at TRU and the printing on the armor was backwards. The printing was on the back rather than the front and the front was blank. Anyone else had this problem? What can I do about it??

Do I sense a haunted stage coach in the works?? *skull*

Nice Review *yoda* . At $26.99 CAD I think I'm going to buy 2 copies of this set, its a great design and a decent parts pack (especially for horses and minifigs). I also think I'm going to mod it into a coach for the evil wizard to ride in >:-) .

Gee... this set was released in 2002...soooo..... :-| I don't own this set but I was planning on buying it NIB on eBay before I found out about all the SW releases scheduled for this summer. I thought the new JSF was going to look like this so I passed up on it.

I'd love to see Islanders come back as part of a new pirate theme. I dont have a single islanders set (I wasn't buying LEGO when they came out) but I always liked that subtheme and would definitely buy it this time around

Ive seen several of these fake LEGO sets on eBay and they're usually from China. Ive seen a few smaller pirate sets and some forestmen ones too.

Exclusive EB Review: 7093 - Skeleton Tower

You forgot the best one...... :-P -
One question *yoda* . Do the regular horse helmets fit on the skeleton horses?

I voted original cam for me, I cant resist a girl wearing cute little frames. *wub*

I agree with 5150 Lego, that whole site/song/campaign defeats its own purpose. It wants her to go away but at the same time gives her attention. The only way Paris Hilton and other like her will "go away" is if people stop paying attention to them. Sadly, I don't see that happening anytime soon, most people's lives are so boring and meaningless that they'd rather live vicariously through celerities like PH, pretty sad indeed.

Nice review, I like the *yoda* touch. I really like the classic small town look to this station. I'm glad I didn't get the previous station because I like this one a lot better.

I was thinking about this over the last day or so and I finally got some great ideas for a city theme. How about a vacation or leisure sub-theme. Some of my ideas for sets are: Fishing Trip - Includes one jeep/suv vehicle with 2 minifigs and accessories (including 2 fishing poles). Family Camp Site - Includes tents, fire, pots, pans, a car with a trailer and a minifig family (3 or 4 figs). The kids can be represented by the stubby minifig legs. White Water Raft - Basically a rehash of an old set from the early 90s (cant think of the set number). a raft, 3 minifigs with life jackets and helmets an accessories. Ski Lodge - A large set with a wooden style ski lodge, 5 or 6 minifigs with ski jacket torsos, skis and poles, a jeep or all-terrain bike with rescue guy. Maybe even a working chair lift that runs on Technic gears. Cottage Camp - Another large set made up of 2 or 3 small cottages, 7 - 8 minifigs, lots of camping accessories, a small boat, jet ski, all-terrain bike, fishing equipment, a small dock.... etc. etc. etc....

Awesome idea Athos. One question: How would the mythological creatures be constructed (Brick built, single molds with moving parts...)? PS Please don't say they'd be made out of Bionicle parts like the Viking creatures. *sing* ;-)

Wow, I can't believe how cheap the smaller sets are. They are about 25% cheaper than I thought they were going to be.

I just saw the movie yesterday. Great work on your MOCs, I like the John Jameson one the most.

Sets containing piratical and/or complimentary elements!
BearHeart replied to Berry Syedow's topic in LEGO Pirates
The upcoming set 7029 Skeleton Ship Attack will have lots of pirate related pieces. -
I bought this set second-hand on eBay last year. Its a very interesting set because it includes 2 main minifigs in a very small set, something that LEGO doesn't do anymore. Instead, they package all of the most sought after minifigs into large, expensive sets. This set is a great way to get the tan torsos which are great for peasant MOCs and chrome lightsabre handles. If this set was released now I'd definitely pick up multiple copies of it. Unfortunately, it came out in the midst of my dark age and so I had to buy it second-hand,

Doctor Who??? I live in Canada and I've never heard of him.

I'd also love to see a Wild West style train (9v hopefully). *y*

Thanks for the reviews and pics, Im planning on getting multiple copies of these sets as soon as they show up at my local stores. I really like the new skeleton heads and the knight's armor. I think the black skeleton horseman should have a skeleton body rather than a regular minifig one.

I recently purchased the 10132 Motorized Hogwarts Express set. I'm wondering whether its worth expanding the track by buying more 9v track or whether it makes more sense to convert the set into RC and buy RC tracks instead. Ive read that LEGO will be discontinuing the 9v system and that RC is the future of LEGO trains. Any tips?
