Apart from the terrifying Whaler they all look like a friendly bunch of smugglers businessmen. The droid is a bit different, I thought it was a totem to begin with. Some good character in your entry.

I heard that Cody was the same as the generic troopers from his unit, so any of the yellow guys from whichever set it was can be your new Cody.

Tudor panels! How awesome do they look? These days we would probably just get stickers. Thanks for reminding me about the toblerone triple slope, I'd like that in many different accent colours. Ugh, those flags bending in opposite ways is so annoying, it doesn't look good when they're mismatched, and Bricklink doesn't differentiate. And the black castle from 1988 was a nice change, I agree that not-grey would be very welcome!

Yeah but they won't END it by bumping off the WHOLE* remaining cast of main heroes. TCW lost a lot of secondary characters including jedi that weren't in episode 3, but Ventress, Rex & Ahsoka were the only introduced main characters, and all 3 survived, walking away. The highest profile character to die was Savage Opress, and some clones. And the finale (although possibly not the original plan for a finale) had no prominent deaths. So it wasn't that devastating, and I don't expect Rebels to go far over that. I reckon there will be high profile deaths along the way, but not most, surely not all, and surely not end on such a big sad note by killing off more than a couple in the finale. I expect a "happy" ending of sorts. *non-OT

Yep. I'm putting together an army with dark purple as the red/blue replacement. To go with the CMFs that came out recently, so the jester & princess fit in with them. That's another good one.

Hmmm, since he won't appear (except maybe as a ghost) in the movies to come I wouldn't mind some more Obi-Wan. He is my favourite jedi though.

(There's a similar thread in the embassy, but I was wondering about people's thoughts for the Castle specific elements.) For the next, or any future iterations of the Castle theme, are there any CURRENTLY/RECENTLY EXISTING parts you would like to see in newer colours? Or perhaps a rare colour that you'd like more widespread? By new colour I mean an existing TLG colour that hasn't yet been used for that element. Obviously discontinued colours & moulds don't count, so forget about an old dark grey horse in the old style. For starters, the current horse is available in black, white & brown. It would be nice to see the horse in other colours too: perhaps dark brown, medium dark flesh, tan, dark tan, grey or dark grey. Anyone else agree? Other elements might include armour, helmets, horse accessories, flags, plumes, castle wall/facet/turret bricks, arches, dragon parts, weapons, leaves etc. So what do you think? I'd really like to see flags and plumes in some new colours, particularly oranges, dark purple and browns, maybe olive. There are custom parts and colours around, but for those wanting to stay purist some new colours would be great for creating new army factions. Red & blue gets a bit dull after a few iterations...

Ah yes. I haven't opened my Rebels sets yet so I've not seen the head piece separate from the rest of him.

My guess is that because it's a kid's cartoon on Disney, I doubt that all of the remaining non-OT heroes will die at the end.

The "educated speculation" is the talk you get from the long time Lego fan (ie many members on the forum) who has come to know that Castle releases occur with no more than a couple of years' gap, and the type of thing that TLG releases under the Castle theme, and the kind of sets that are released these days.

Thank you for that reminder. Even if it did get marked down to half price ($350!) I would probably pass. Especially if an updated one might be just around the corner. In my experience, the only sets that get discounted are ones I already have or huge ones I don't want to pay that much for, and could've bought at a sale for less. We shall see!

Haha, you actually did it like a set review! I don't see any comments about the price per piece ratio though... The space canoe looks really good, especially as a counterpart for the original canoe. I wonder though if the space pirate version is a bit too piratey and not spacey enough for me. But you can see the differences quite clearly, and also how much you have tried to make them not too dissimilar where I would have strayed a bit further.

Blue? Jay, bluejay. Easy to remember. Black? Cole, coal is black. Easy to remember. The others you have every excuse to not remember!
