No wonder TLG "can't afford" to give us discounts for the promo, when they send the posters out separately in a massive box halfway around the world... Got a card & text message yesterday notifying me of a large parcel awaiting collection from the post office. Got excited, thinking I'd be building today, but no, it was just a big cardboard box with a folded up poster. At least it wasn't ripped!

That seems about right to me. The curves are the same length & width as the length of the long straights.

Have a browse through the Castle subcategory of minifigs in the Bricklink catalogue, it's unusual for castle-friendly minifigs to appear in other sets. The ones that do are usually copies. Some AFOLs complain that there aren't enough civillian-type options available, and suitable torso prints for that are rare. But if all you want are knights and royalty, you'll find stacks of that.

It is if you have power tools... ...and I agree, I have done the same.

Target & Myer still do blanket Lego or toys discounts now & then, but Target also does selected themes & Myer also does selected sets. Kmart & (I think) Big W don't do blanket sales anymore, only selected sets & clearances. TRU is TRU.
