  1. Why do you want a new tab just to post a reply? Is it because you want to keep reading the thread before submitting a post? If so, you should use the multiquote function (for some reason it's now a + sign), then post your comments once you've finished reading every page. Saves you changing your post as you go, while the thread journeys along. If not I don't know what you're after.
  2. Next year's sets look even LESS castly... I wonder if that opens a door a bit sooner or not
  3. The naughty word filter hasn't been re-implemented by the look of things
  4. It was. Did you watch the short or extended version? The extended one was less disappointing and less ridiculous (due to better pacing and substance) but still the least of the 6 movies.
  5. Are the SW team doing Friends now? It seems that they've run out of new ideas. Or do they come mid year, perhaps. Feels like it's been a really long wait for this 3rd house, the 5th one must be an eternity away.
  6. Hey guys, (if you're wondering) the set build WON'T change much from the preliminary pics, but the minifig details WILL (in most cases) change a lot.
  7. I am loving that the member icon tags are all nicely aligned now, especially for staff who have heaps of them. It was such a mess before!
  8. The timestamps have magically (or perhaps by elves) been fixed! I am no longer 1 hour in the future! But I am still struggling with getting around the loss of the "view new content" button. I made an activity stream that is similar, but now I have to scroll infinitely over EVERY new post in the whole forum instead of seeing a certain number of pages of topics that have new posts since last time. Fine for a daily catch-up, but over the weekend is crazy!
  9. Not really interested in this wave, on first impression.
  10. Who doesn't have 50 friends called James? That's not really a coincidence is it? First one was excellent
  11. 40% off the second item at Myer until Sunday. (Doesn't stack on top of catalogue offers of course)
  12. Better than talking about Nexo Knights! The "information" threads are heavily "on/off topic" policed, but threads like this one are purely discussion of opinions and the mods usually only step in if we are either spamming up the board with useless posts or things are getting heated. Mods tend to respond to reported posts. If no one is getting annoyed by these posts, no one will report them. If we clogged up a 2017 theme rumour/discussion thread (that people follow to find new information) with an off topic conversation, people would report it, and rightly so.
  13. This year's calendar is another win, last year's was the first SW one I bought, but this one is even better. Capes are loose in CMF packets Or independently moving legs so they can walk rather than just hop
  14. Jeremy looks terrible too, exactly like the source material Bravo TLG for the successful level of screen accuracy on this set, now please do something about Star Wars Rebels minifigs.
  15. But have previous Ideas sets appeared at other retailers in the UK?
  16. I know about all of that, I think that's what I've already done. It goes out again possibly due to daylight savings being applied at the wrong time of year.
  17. They look terrible BECAUSE they look like the source material. It's one of those situations where NOT being true to the source material would be welcome. So many times we complain about Lego sets or minifigs not properly representing the source, and this time, sadly, they nailed it. Would've been better if the minifigs represented a real-life version of the Beatles, even if they wore similar outfits to the cartoon.
  18. It wasn't a debacle. Some Europeans said the Jabba's Palace set was offensive to muslims because it resembled an iconic mosque (which was originally a church building mind you), and had a go at TLG (instead of Lucasfilm, if anyone). Fact is, the SW Tatooine design is supposed to be reminiscent of arabian/middle eastern architecture and resembles a lot of buildings, some of which are mosques. TLGs response included that they'd retire the set. Which they did at the normal time they retire every normal set - it was not pulled from shelves, discontinued early or anything outside of the norm.
  19. I was thinking that the timezone thing was what he was referring to. You know, how everything is 1 hour in the future since forever. Question: is there an anticipated time that this will take place? So I know when on Wednesday to not bother trying to use the site.
  20. Most sets are made for kids, and apparently they love applying stickers
  21. Depends on who is in charge of keeping the books
