This is getting off-topic, but yes I have had this happen in the past. The initial $400 was simply a temporary hold which usually falls off and then they send the real charge through, normally it is transparent but very rarely I will even get the package before the real charge appears to hit. It doesn't have anything to do with the website as it would be a totally different computer system. Same happened to me at least once. (Did not get free Lego!)

Got enough self-restraint to not respond to the SW discussion, but Alyssa Milano was (is?) an absolute knockout... and that is as much as I'll say. Whew

Customer service got back to me, apparently AU/NZ was only supposed to have double points. But since I only got single points and no polybag they gave me bonus points to put it up to triple and sent a stormtrooper separately. Don't think I sounded complainy (to them - on here however...) TLG has pretty good customer service when you contact them.

I thought nothing would pass, so when she was about to announce this set I honestly had no idea which one had passed. I figured this would be too big. Unless it's scaled down, I don't think this will sell well outside of the AFOL market for detailed buildings. I may be priced out of it too. Always thought it was a great model of course! What's with the Engrish all of a sudden?

There was a poll of some kind in the Action forum early on where the people that usually post in there voted on how great it was, outpolling the traditional Castle people that ventured over there. The general consensus outside of polls was that people in the Historical forum thought it was too Space-y, Sci-Fi forum people thought it was too Castle-y, and Action forum people thought it was the best thing ever. Another poll would probably give the same results, but I'd imagine that there are more people now that don't have the Castle or Space fan background, and therefore like it. Having said that, I don't know how popular it still is over there now that it's been out for a bit.

I don't see any problems... it would be good to finally bring Obi Wan into the show, even if it's all on the down-low. And after-all, what else do you expect of Maul, since his single purpose in The Clone Wars was to kill him, an objective he never succeeded at.

3x points haven't shown on the order details on the site or in the email confirmation sadly. Haven't ordered on the new site before, but everywhere that told me how many points I'd get on this order (including in the email) equated to single points. I will wait and see how it goes, but has everyone else had their estimated/projected (whatever) points as expected or not? I realise already that the points aren't awarded until later, but thanks.

Not sure if this a known issue (and being left for when more important things are done) but not all of the smileys are back, and some are duplicated. When typing a post, pressing "home" or "page up" etc doesn't move the cursor any more, but instead scrolls the page to the top or bottom. I used to use cmd+up (or other direction) for that stuff, now it seems it moves the cursor instead. So no complaints, but I'm sure I'll do the wrong one every time for a while... It has, but all you need to do is click on the icon to the left of the thread name. It should be a Lego brick, a circle or a star. This feature was present before the upgrade.

First time I'm hearing that

So disappointed... triple points weren't showing up on Friday so I thought maybe we in Aus weren't getting them. Waited until later in the day, saw later that the trooper AND triple points were advertised for Friday-Sunday, so I placed an order only for neither to show up in the cart or email... Even though I wanted it, if I missed the minifig because they ran out I can't really complain. But if I don't get the points I will be pretty pissed off. And all these people getting free minifigs with multiple tiny orders is pissing me off too, I have to spend $200+ each order to avoid the horrendous postage charge. (and then not get the minifig after all) I would be happy with either of those, the general hasn't been made available to us

Great, now Sabine has a third helmet variation (and new hair again), TLG still hasn't given us the first 2... Pleased to see the yellow TIEs again, hoping for a Lego set of those.

So... do we get double points in October (ie starting tomorrow) to go with the FO Stormtrooper over the next few days or is today as good as it gets? No triple bonus points today makes it hardly worth ordering
