One thing you can do to get around that (incredibly annoying and unnecessary) yellow/flesh neck triangle is the addition of some body wear accessories or beards, obviously it doesn't always work. I think the dwarf would fit in with the Hobbit dwarves if not for the yellow (he doesn't look to go well with any of the existing yellow ones).

If indeed the TRU exclusive is Obi Wan's JSF, then we are many months away from a release. Keep in mind that in recent years we have not had pictures or official confirmation of the TRU exclusive until just before release, and in the Palpatine's Arrest case, didn't know anything until someone saw it in stock.

There's 3 each year in USA & Australia, I don't know where else for sure, but in some countries they aren't exclusive.

The bounty hunter image is definitely preliminary place-holder. Strange about the helmet, as the hairpiece colour has been updated since the original. I'm not overly fussed that we don't get every version of everything, but only 1 (incorrect) version in only 1 set feels like a bummer. It's only a print, not like it's a whole new part to mould, and they could use an existing colour to print on? But I won't lose sleep over it.

If it is on S@H, and they don't award the double points, you can always email them afterwards to say that you didn't get the points when you should have. I did that last year during the triple points period (which was apparently only meant to be double points for us - triple everywhere else, but was advertised as triple) when I was mistakenly only given single points and no polybag, they then sent me the polybag and awarded bonus points.

A temporary lock on a thread isn't punishment, it's a pause to a conversation in order to deal with the 'stuff'. The thread was only locked for 2.5 hours. I think you're over-reacting.

So it appears Sabine is helmetless (again) in the advent calendar. I'm disappointed by that, only 1 (expensive) set has had one and it was in a colour she's never worn. There doesn't seem to be too much in the calendar to interest me this year. But I am very interested in the speeder army builder, that looks great. As does the hunter droid in the Freemaker set. Quadjumper doesn't offer much for me, so that's a pass. Rathtar set still not sure, minifigs are good, set is ho-hum.

I don't know for certain, but logic suggests (and sometimes law commands) that you get the current promotion when you place an order and commit to pay for it, and not when the item is sent out or the payment goes through.

In the "rules" it says you take or you don't, so what's wrong with saying "give it to someone else who missed out"?

Through Bricks & Pieces on S@H customer service you can either report missing/broken parts or BUY replacement parts (you may have lost, or perhaps want extras). Not all parts are available for purchase on BaP, which is why there are a few threads on here announcing certain licenced parts that have appeared on the site. It seems that the new site puts these things under the same banner, hence some of the confusion in this topic. From what I understand, much of the current wave will not be available at retail, including that set, sadly.

If your set came with a part(s) missing, or broken, then you can use this service. Just report what was missing/broken, TLG will send it to you quick-smart for no charge. I have done this twice in 7 years. They may ask you to send the broken or misprinted part to them. However, if you lost/broke a part or want to just get something for free, do not use the service. Buy the part from PaB, BaP or Bricklink.

"Space Battle" is knock-off for "Star Wars" (and in the SW font). Not that anyone still needs convincing, but further proof that that is not an official set is the set number. Too bad for TLG if they are releasing a BB-8, the KOs are already out. Unless theirs has amazing features, sales will be greatly affected.

Not a playset, something new... could be a companion for R2-D2 like C-3PO or BB-8 it's BB-8... with power functions... We are all being led up the garden path together! Maybe we are even correct!
