Okay now I've caught up... things getting really interesting! And good to see these newer minifigs joining the party

Ahhahahaha - you know, at this point (after 5 years of nothing) I would actually be happy with that

Everyone means something different when they use the terms "castle" "classic castle" "vintage castle" & "traditional castle"

I think it was really just the plot and some character that I couldn't accept. The other aspects of the film were great (sound, visuals etc), but it was ruined for me by so many "it doesn't work that way" & "why would you do that" moments!

As a drummer I found that movie very difficult to enjoy, and so much of it made no sense to me

New part is only 20 or 30 years overdue... yet every year a big bang theme gets heaps of 1 use weapons or other unnecessary new moulded parts. The mind boggles

Finn, Rose and every scene they appeared in was superfluous. You could say the constant cutting from this arc to that arc destroyed the flow of the film, it was so higgledy-piggledy - without those useless scenes it would've been much better. Phasma was superfluous. Maz was superfluous. Some of this movie was very good, some was very disappointing. Nearly every Star Wars movie has been that way. It's still enjoyable but I wouldn't venerate this or the previous

I wondered why they aren't used anymore, but now I think it could be because they often got stuck, and there was nothing to get a good handle on to remove them when that happened (usually resulting in chewed Lego) But that doesn't quite make sense now that heads have holes in the stud, so unless the head is too loose on a neck you should be able to twist the helmet off easily.

I felt a bit weird (and disappointed) on seeing episode 7 the first time, but I received this movie fairly well. A lot more space battles, aliens & creatures this time, it felt more like the Star Wars franchise to me. Opening crawl had me thinking "oh no, not another ESB" So when they were bunkered down with the white salt ground it had that Hoth thing happening, AT-ATs included, I got a bit worried again. But it wasn't too bad. I also got a Helm's Deep vibe going, haha. The next movie had better not have another Death Star type thing... A bit long at 2:30 though, SW movies have always been 2 hours. Time will tell how much I like this movie, too early to say. 1 Really? I thought he was the only one that didn't see it coming. Unofficial rule #1 of being a sith lord is kill your master, so it was always going to happen. 2 That annoyed me. Unless it's revealed somehow later, he's yet another "super incredible all-powerful bad guy that came from nowhere in no time" like all these blockbuster nerd films. That really drives me up the wall.

Meanwhile, I saw the movie last night, so that means I will finally take a proper look at the (already released months ago) Lego sets now, and any upcoming ones too...

And delivered in March or something... gone are the days of knowing the prizes while the contest is still active. Such a busy world today
