Welcome to EB. "May the Force be with you."

I found out the other day that our English class at college has been moved into a science lab for Monday's lesson. Why am I telling you this, you may ask? Well, the room number is... 42 I considered shouting "what do you get when you multiply 6 by 9" but resisted the urge in the end. X-D Well, it made me smile anyway.

That's a bit of an anticlimax, isn't it? :-D And that makes it all okay!
-
Happy Birthday to both of you guys from me as well.
-
You're quite correct with '85, the line stared in '84 but combiners/gestalts didn't appear till '85 with Devastator/the Constructicons. Anyway, onto the MOC. Lego TFs are hard enough to do, but Combiners? Pretty tough, and you've pulled it off very well. And it looks cool to boot.

I did mean that, and I was being a little sarcastic. Sorry if it didn't come across that way. :-)

Very, very nice. I love all the 'technology of war' stuff, especially the WW2 stuff. And it's interesting to see a P51 that's not yellow for a change.
-
Nice work. Even though I missed out on them by a number of years, I still think the original Space sets are pretty cool. Add that to my love of updating, remaking, or modernising (my ongoing Transformers WW2 project, for example) and you've got a winner. This is that winner.

I agree with ZBD (can I call you that?). An enjoyable read, expertly contained in the short story form. I don't usually go for Fantasy stories, but this was a very good piece of work. Well done. So... any more planned? X-D

Yesterday after college I walke up to the bus stop with a girl called Jess. In the rain. We both got soaked. And today, we both had colds, albeit not bad! Not that we should be surprised. Also today, I had one of my infamous 3-and-a-half-hour breaks, so I nipped into town and picked up Fantastic Four Adventures #30 and DC Universe Presents... #1, as well as three books from the library. Upon returning to college, I did a bit of Maths hwk, and ended up talking to a girl called Amanda abut a mutual 'aquaintance.' It's funy, you'd think all these breaks'd be really boring, but actually they're mostly okay, as long as I avoid the common room, which has been overrun by a gaggle of, erm, strange people. I get to talk to loads of new people, which is pretty good. And I finally got my timetable sorted out! Yes!

At least, they're new to me anyway. OT Dark Side Classic Battle Lord Vader Master Yoda Kenobi vs Vader $14.99 each and they appear to only be available in America at the moment, unfortunately. I quite like the Dark Side one, and the *vader* and *yoda* one's aren't too bad either.

Happy Birthday from me too, guys. :-)

Perhaps you sense a disturbance in the Force?

TIE Fighter and Y-Wing are also available, same price.

Sorry, beat you to it a while ago: http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...ndpost&p=187168 Never mind though. It's -
I've read all the books, but I only actually own the first four. For some reason, the only 'coolection' I could find when I was looking to buy the books was the 'trilogy of four' as opposed to the complete 'trilogy of five.' I'm still on the lookout for that elusive book though...

I too, agree with both the above posts. Nice work Shine.

I had a really quick go the other night. God, it was loud coming through my headphones, but that might've just been me. Seems like an interesting game, but I'll have to have a proper go to investigate further.

Oh, I like the tank. Beefy, bold, futuristic, and distinctly EF. Nice.
-
Very nice, especially the first worms-eye-view shot. It looks like the sort of shot you might see in an action film, or maybe a comic book. Keep up the good work.

I guess I was pretty surprised with Star Wars, much like everyone else. I was about nine back then and SW was one of my favourite films (they still are), so it was a big thing (it still is). Then of course, Batman. For years I'd been wishing for Lego Batman, just because it'd be so cool. And then last year Lego obliged. It was much the same feeling I'd had when I was nine, only now I was 15/16. Then this year I'm 16/17, and I've just gone through it again with Indy. As far as actual sets go, I was pretty surprised be the Mocular City line, and the UCS sets, especially the MF. Which is funny, as I don't own any of them. :-P

Because he didn't attempt to breach a conversation on the subject, only made a statement of recognition regarding the logo. I could be wrong, but that's just what I assumed.
-
And if that's not a typical fan-boy answer I don't know what is! :-D Honestly, I think all the films have merits, and all have problems, but I try not to be too negative about something I love, preferring questions like "which is the best Star Wars movie" to this question anyday. Which, incidentally, is exactly what I said to a guy at college the other day. But, yeah, Jar-Jar was pretty annoying (understatement of the century).
-
Hmm, yeah, I'll give it a go. I'll have to read the book and watch the film again to refresh my memory, it's been a while since I did either. Sacrilage, I know! Oooh, I could murder a Pan-Galactic-Gargle-Blaster right now.
