Thanks everyone! Glad you like it. It's more the fact that I've not got round to photographing them. They've been sat on my desk waiting, and I've just not got round to it. Purely accidental, actually.

Thanks Casewindu, Nadroj and Asuka. :-) Well, no-one's ever said that to me before :-$ :-D

Well... they both end in 'o' X-D Sorry, okay, back on topic. I'd like to try something like this. Trouble is, Ratchet, Blackout, Bonecrusher, Brawl and Starscream are all preominantly decked out in colours that Lego don't make a lot of, while Megs is probably too intricate to make effectively/easily. So that leaves Frenzy, Scorpy, Prime, BB (x2), Barricade, Ironhide and Jazz. Hmm, might try Barricade...

She likes him now, when Bruce Wayne is Batman, but she doesn't like Damian. It doesn't explicitly state the reason in the comic, but she says that "[Damian] caused the death of... a good friend." Presumably, he had some sort of role in Bruce's death. Thank you.

V-LV-12B After building my Bat-Tank the other week, I decided I didn't really like the weapons-sidecar. But before I got rid of it completely, I thought I'd try to make a proper sidecar. Now, I couldn't remember which side of the bike the car went on, and couldn't be bothered checking, so I just assumed it went on the side of the passenger-in-car for whichever country the sidecar's in. If that's the case, this is a UK sidecar. I couldn't, for some reason, get brilliant light while photographing this (but could for the other stuff I snapped), so apologies if any of the photos are a bit 8- The green cushion was so the sidecar matched at least a little with the dark green bike. Of course, these two aren't stereotypes at all... :-D Gallery when public I've not tried it with the other 'new' bike yet, so I don't know whether the rod will fit smoothly through the holes on the sides. I it does, you may be seeing a Police sidecar fairly soon... X-O

Thanks, feel free. Thank you. Very nice.

Recently, I seem to have ended up building a large number of Bat-MOCs. So I decided I'd collect them all together in an ongoing thread that'll be updated as long as I have new MOCs coming in in the near future. Then of course, once I decided to do a goody-bag, the number of MOCs increased exponentially as I decided I wanted to cater for everyone's tastes. There really is something for everyone (though don't point it out if there isn't), but it won't be posted all at once. There're MODs, minifigs, minifig MOCs, mini/micro models, Vigs, the works. Today, I'll be presenting Part 1. This consists of: a Mini Batmobile, a vig, two mini-vigs, a Batmobile, and three figs. OK, here we go: Mini Batmobile Based on the Batmobile from the 60s TV series (which I'm enjoying watching on BBC4 on Tuesdays and Thursday, btw), this is actually my second mini-BM. I'm quite pleased with it actually. 1, 2, 3 Gallery Vignette Based on that scene/panel from Batman: Knightfall. Come on, you know which one I mean. (And you get a free shot of some foliage outside my window :-D ) 1 Gallery Mini-Vigs Won't bother explaining these, just go here to see them. Catwoman Nice and simple, Catwoman gets hair. From her appearance in Batman: Hush, btw. Batman #666 Designed as a follow-up to Batman & Son, Grant Morrison and Andy Kubert shifted the action 15 years into the future, with Damien Wayne taking up the mantle of the Bat following Bruce's death. He is faced by a changing world, a world shifting ever closer to an apocalypse... Batman He actually wears a dark grey trenchcoat with scalloped tails, and his collar is a bit smaller, but this is close enough for me to care. It looks cool anyway. X-D Barbara Gordon Now Police Commissioner, Barbara Gordon is the only member of the GCPD who doesn't like the Batman. Those are treads/tracks on the chair, btw. Her coat should be dark green, but again, close enough. 1, 2 Gallery when public Batmobile Now, bear in mind, we only see this in one panel (the image can be seen here), so I took a few creative liberties on it, especially at the back. Bear in mind also that Batman fitted in with both capes the other week when I actually built the MOC, but wouldn't today... *wacko* 1, 2, 3, 4 Gallery when public Coming soon, Bat-Tank, Batcopter, Scarecrow plane MODs and Riddler jetpack MODs; a Bat-glider based on the one from Batman: Year One; Batcave MOC/MOD version 2 (not yet finished); some Lego comicbook art and hopefully a large Arkham (not yet started). EDIT: See part 2 here. Go. Now. ;-)

So I was working on all the stuff for my Bat-MOC Goody-bag (see Theater), and I was looking at the figs I had on display on my desk. They were all stood on 4x4 plates (bar my sigfig, who was stood unaided), and I thought 'it needs something more.' So I came up with mini-vig display bases. The Clone one was actually done ages ago, but it never occured to me (God knows why not) to do the same for others. So, without further ado, I present: ... the first five mini-vigs! They are as follows: Clone Trooper (Ep3) Gamorrean Guard Batman (that's a lampost in the background) Yes, this is based on the classic Bat-image. Scarecrow (with fear gas spray-can) Close-up 1 Close-up 2 Brainbox (that's me, in case you didn't know ;-) ) Close-up 1 Close-up 2 On display 1, 2, 3 Gallery when public I think I like the Bats and Scarecrow ones best, Scarecrow for it's detail, and Bats, conversely, for it's simplicity. There're plenty of other figs on my desk, so hopefully I'll be able to brainstorm a few more simple scenes to cater for them. So, as usual, C, C+Qs welcome.

I think I've heard that, but that's all I've heard. Still, I'll just enjoy it for what it is. And pyrokinetics are cool, not least because of the name.

Oh, sorry, I assumed you knew what I meant. Yeah, his newly-revealed daughter Nyssa killed and resurrected his known daughter Talia repeatedly, driving her mad. Nyssa then goaded Talia into killing Ra's, little realising that Ra's was grooming Nyssa to kill him and inherit his criminal empire anyway. Nyssa retained control of the last Lazarus Pit somewhere in the Balkans (save for the oft-rumoured one hidden in the Batcave). We've not really heard much from her since, but Talia's showed up with Damian, Batman's purported son. It's likely he'll have some sort of role or part to play in the upcoming resurrection. And of course the new bag/pouch from the Indy line increases the chances of getting a proper, full-on trenchcoat. *wub*

All they need to do now is sort out their distribution, especially to the UK... I was just wondering if availability is as bad on the other side of the world. That said though, TRU weren't doing too bad the other week. It's my birthday next Tuesday, so I might see if I can find time to go and look in mine after then. I considered miscrediting this quote in return, but then thought better of it. :-D ;-)

I watched Hellboy on TV on Sunday night. Pretty good, but I'm not sure how close it was to the source material, as I've never read a Hellboy comic.

No, but judging by the new cross-comic story arc, The Resurrection of Ra's Al Ghul, I think there's quite a good chance. Gordon is an absolute, unequivocal must. I heard a while ago (around about last years first wave release, I think) that they were holding Gordon back until they could work out the best way to do his signature trenchcoat. Then again, that was a year ago, so that may not be the case anymore.

There's a picture gallery here. Save for the colour, it's quite acurate. But I think we can let the colour issue pass, seeing as how it'd be Sand Blue, a colour we don't exactly have a lot of. Which ones might I ask. Because all I can find are Arcees, Dreadwings and the odd '08 BB, which I bought the other week. Oh, and there was a Voyager Megs as well, but I don't really like the figure. Bonecrusher and the Wave 2 Legends (Prime, Megs, Screamer and Blackout) figs are the ones I want, but I can't seem to find any of them. |-/ Oh, and that last quote you used, wasn't that mine? Because it's credited to Chuck. No biggie, I just thought I'd point it out.

I'd like to second my thanks to interviewer, interviewee and presenter. Thanks, that is, for bringing us another 'in-depth' ( :-P ) interview with one of our beloved brethren. I got bored with saying 'thanks for another interview' so thought I'd try it a slightly different way. :-D

Happy Birthday mate.

I watched The Naked Gun last night. And no, it's not what you think ;-) It was really funny all the way through. Well, it was bound to be- it's Police Squad, and it's from the makers of Airplane!. What more can you ask for?
-
Really? Cool.

Nice, but I've missed the newsbreak by a day... again. |-/ Anyway, onto the sets themselves. Imperial Dropship: Not much, but I suppose it's got 3/4 (I can't really tell) Stormies, and it'll probably be cheap, so it's an 'okay.' Rebel Scout Speeder: Same really. But the 4 Rebel Troopers are really, really nice. I mean, how long have we been asking for them? And now we've got them! Hailfire/Spider Droids: Nice SuperBP. That's, what, 3 BDs, 1 SBD, a nice enough Spider Droid, and an okay Hailfire. I'll wait for bigger pics though. At-Ap: Now this is nice. It's simple, but looks like it should. It also looks as though the trooper walking has yellow helmet stripe. They're definitely Ep3 though, which is good as they should be for an AT-AP. Rogue Shadow: Not being familiar with this, I can't really say too much about it, but it looks alright. Not brilliant, but alright. The DV Battle-damaged fig looks interesting, and Juno should be good. All in all, a pretty nice, rounded selection.

Ooh, I want one. I don't care which but I want one. Perhaps *vader* ... Thanks for the pics.

Yes, but he's been in a lot more than just The Batman. His real name is Kirk Langstrom, and while experimenting with a Bat serum to cure deafness. He tests it on himself (as you do), and mutates into Man-Bat. Here's some more info. Although bear in mind that we got Riddler and Scarecrow again to give them vehicles, which they didn't have in Arkham. We've already got a submarine for Penguin, so we probably won't see him again, but Ivy and Freeze are possibilities. But like I've said, you could get around it by giving Ivy green skin. Hopefully, we'll hear something soon. But if the sets are out in Summer it may be a few months yet. And we've got the game box cover in the meantime. Especially with his... Spoiler Upcoming resurrection.

No, but it looks like the toy. I dunno, they're pretty close from a skewed perspective. Sure, the toys aren't as 'shard-y' but they're all passable. Well, all except the Legends class, which are likable for a different reason. Anyway, back to the MOCs. They're all pretty amazing. Ironhide would probably look better wihout the stand, but I suppose he's probably a little top-heavy in 'real-life' so that'll pass. Bumblebee looks nice, and Prime's pretty cool too. That Flikr one just posted is quite good (understatement) too. Sigh, I want to try this now...

Yeah, but it needs some of the LSW charm. I think we've seen that picture before, but not as the the actual box cover. I like it, it looks classic Bats, but definitely Lego. It's out next Summer I think. Can't wait.
