Thanx Alois, i know, as a Dutchman i'm used to cycling on red painted bikepaths, but i wanted to keep it a bit more recognizable for non-Dutch! Besides that, i thought i might be a bit too distracting from the modular buildings. I'm now thinking of making some tiled parkinglots (Dark Bluish Grey with a white 'P' and white lines), but i'm not sure yet... I'm currently selling some sets, to make cash available so i can bricklink a few tiles. So that is why i'm selling 10 older Creatorset and the 6 Winter Village sets.. Thank you.. sometimes i think it looks a bit boring to use the same colors, but on the other hand, the square should not get a crowdy look.. i had that in my former layout, so i want to give it space as well. And by using only a few colors it creates space...i think.. (I'm not an architect, it is just a thought of mine... ) Poisso, hope to see your square in the near future.. maybe you can borrow me some ideas when you show yours... I still need a statue, but i do not want the statue of Liberty and i'm also not charmed by a grey Knight-minifig as well... it is hard....

I just put 12 benches in the layout, so the minifigs can enjoy the square whilst sitting.. I also made a sort of fence with lots of black chains and telescopes...Now i'm waiting for 18 tan baseplates (8 x 16) so i can tile the pavement between the modulars and the square. It will be a path for cyclists!

I decided to do some updating on my square. Here is a drawing i made from the current layout. I will change the sidewalks between the modulars and the square. It measures a surface of 8 x 128 studs that i will have to fill with 18 pcs 8 x 16 tan baseplates with tiles on it! Currently there are some Dark Bluish Gray 8 x 16 tiles that are meant to be a sidewalk or path for bicycles....The whole layout measures 176 x 320 studs, which is about 140 cm x 256 cm or 55 x 100 inches. (Notice that i made larger versions of 7 out of 10 modulars by using two sets of each.............

That is a very good looking square! As i said in one of your other copies, i like your buildings!! Now put some minifigs around the square so it will look more alive!! Good job!!!

I would love to make a modular like this myself!! Looks great, especially the area underneath the shoppingwindows and the windows on the first floor! Really well done!!

It is an advantage if you have a LEGO store in your neighbourhood... I've been to the Oberhausen store once of twice, but it would not be very efficient if i go there for Lego only.. so i'll have to order all pieces through bricklink... Till now i only made these trees...
