Really nice and packed with details!! Placing the GhostBusters HQ besides the Firebrigade makes it look like there is a connection between both buildings.. i think it is the best place fot eh GB HQ to be.. Looks good here, although i did not buy it myself. The whole layout is looking great!!

Thanks Ryan, but those modular buildings are all MOD(ifications)'s...so all credits to the members of the Lego Group... Sadly i'm afraid i won't succeed in building and creating such nice buildings as a MOC. Expanding needs also a bit of skill, and yes, i also do interiors.. on my Flickr account you can see severable albums with pictures of Modular MOD's....!! Have fun here on EuroBricks!! Get inspired!!

I'm not sure what you actually want to know.... For today i added two extra layers of branches and leaves to the twelve trees in the Modular Square!
-
Thank you... and yes, i should start with that, but i'm not convinced that i'm thát creative...besides that, there is a lack of time.... I tried it once, but i just do nat have enough sparebricks...i made this with 3 of the TownHouse set 4954... I started in 2009, but then it was only City stuff.. I still have a lot of sets, but now and then i sell sets from that period. It need too much space, so i'll stick with the Modular Square only and will sell off my trains, City sets and so on...Positive effect is, that i can sell most sets for the Original price, or some even for more... so it wasn't a bad investment...! Thank you! Thank you too... i'm currently investing in 'growing' my trees on the modular square.. There are twelve of them and i will raise them 6 bricks and give them two extra layers of branches and leaves...!!

NCX, this is not with two sets only...here you will need an extra row of windows..... The version i post a picture of here, is made of two sets and a few extra bricks...besides that there are a lot of sparebricks!! https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1519/24260378961_421239f4dd_h.jpg

That looks nice in real bricks, but some extra bricks for the bottom level will even make it more in proportion! Hmm.. there are a lot of people modding their BrickBank after i showed some pictures here.. i should have started a bricklink shop and sell sandgreen windows there...haha..!!

Thanks Chilis, i used two PetShops and bricklinked two floors from the blue part later... that is why the double blue part is a lot higher!! Yeah looks funny indeed, but the first three sets are too expensive to mess with... .. Buying two from that and creating one XL GreenGrocerversion would only have been possible if i would have bought them for their original prices in the past... I really like it if i inspire someone!! Hope you have fun with your plans or modifications!! The water was the latest addition to the square. I adds a bit of color and breaks up the large square a bit! I'm thinking of making the trees one step bigger...see if that is better in scale! ..yes the BrickBank needs another floor but first i'll wait how bad the damage to my cars engine is...

Well Mosch, that is looking prettu good actually, but like you said.. bricklinking parts is expensive... and i would need about 38 sand grey window (for my XL version)...and they are 1,50 euro each...hmmm... so 57 euros for the windows only....well...that is way to expensive for only windows..maybe later this year.... But it will look great in real bricks..!! Mine would look like this..

I really need to come up with a nice kiosk or a gazebo......maybe i should copy someone else's idea... if i can't make one myself....

Thanks, Chilis..i've never seen any... would do good in any modular i think... !!

That is true, AFOLguy1970... the backs of most building are pretty afwul.. it is neccesary to take care of the buildings in a town, not to show that side.. And the more modulars there are, the harder it gets...or you should ofcourse just MOD a bit here and there and add windows and a backyard...

I really like the dark red!! There should be bricks with masonryprofile in this color!

I guess you'd better start a United Lego Consumers Group, and maybe you can tell TLG what you are meaning.. The low oil price does the same in Holland with petrol... the price went down a bit, but not as much as the oil price dropped.. But what percentage is oil for a set such as the BrickBank.. maybe only 10% orso.. the rest is other than that.. But it is up to everyone on what you buy or not.. so i would not be to angry about it.. if you do not feel comfortable with buying one, then please leave it on the shelf for someone else... it is just the market.. when something is popular, the prices will rise.. it is as simple as that..

I finally managed to make a HD-video of the new modified XL BrickBank in my Lego Modular Square. I hope you like it!! For this Modular Square i used a total of 19 modular sets. The first three modulars are in their original size. All other 8 modulars are XL versions, each made of two sets. The footprint of the whole square, including its buidlings counts almost 62,000 studs. The measurements of the square are 336 x 184 studs, equal to 2.62 x 1.44 meters (=3,8 square meters), or 8,6 x 6,0 feet (= 51,6 square feet).HD

For me it was clear that Market Street is a modular, but i never heard someone from TLG say it actually...
-
..did anyone else also hear Jamie Berard say that this is the 'eleventh' modular....? So Market Street also counts as an official Modular, i guess....?

This is my mirror-version...

I might put it temporary in my square already on sunday! I'll make a video of it and after that, i will take the BrickBank out of the attic downstairs, so i can look at it, and maybe search for small things that i will make better! But euhm...what is a bainster.. i did google it, but nothing cam out that made any sense... . (Or is it that little extra piece of office, where that espressomachine has its place?) Thanks Therize, i din't know that!

Here is a video of my XL version! (Maybe someone can deeplink this YouTube video here for me??)
