  1. BINGO!....i always thought and wonder why there wasnt a dual setup, more lifting power + looks better....how do the real life vehicles look? Do they have one or two?
  2. there is a new gear part for 2015 from some Ninago sets, Part # 18690: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=18590&in=S
  3. the new pnumatics and gear racks are popping up on ebay: http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Lego-Technic-Stutze-Ausleger-rot-grau-NEU-42043-6114965-6114979-/161777507822 http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Lego-Technic-Pneumatic-System-V2-Pumpe-1x6-blau-NEU-42043-19482-6133813-/151770982687 http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Lego-Technic-Pneumatic-System-V2-Zylinder-1x5-gelb-NEU-42043-6099774-/161777507827
  4. Sariel and others had a discussion about that....was said to put the yellow ones on the back and greay on the front....flip what the instructions says.
  5. the spring....the yellow is a harder spring then the gray ones. different springs hvae different strengths. i think someone had a diagram of all the various suspension arms here once.......
  6. what part is this?....listed as lego but its not a lego part right?
  7. impressive MOC....yet wildly unrealisitic for anyone other then the most hardcore. the part count, the massive cost, the time, the specalised parts used.....this is a singular creation made out of love and dedication. it cannot and would not be made for anyone else outside of less then a dozen guys with money to burn.......
  8. TLG may not even acknowledge or release anything...40th anniversary might not even be a thing for them.........
  9. nah....they are small sets, they are probably in the 100 - 160 part range, based on the price etc
  10. has anyone built the B model yet?....it looks just as impressive as the A and it uses most of the parts. it seems very well designed and polished. it does not look like a typical B model on that they had plenty of parts to make a fully realised and finished product. my only complaint is that the cabin section is idential in looks and build design to the A model.
  11. +1 on this...yup, i have fallen victim to this problem myself, not only that....but old/second hand instructions fade over time and its almost impossible to tell DBG from black due to degradtion of the paper. another +1....LCD monitors dont seem to show DBG vs. Black very well...for some reason.......
  12. i always thought the part should have been yellow on 8265.
  13. Just bought a couple of these as they were brand new and cheap , having a heck of a time finding the metal hooks used on 8285/8258 at a reasonable price....so i decided to buy these as an alternative....hoping they look nice and work out......
  14. the bare axles or places you think bushes should have been added is very common, pretty much every set has a spot where you could add extra bushes here and there, that is what our spare parts are for....
  15. also...what are those yellow brick things on top of the rear wheel fenders?
  16. would it be possible to put differtials on all four axels?....or is it overkill/unnesscary?
  17. very interesting usage there..... i wonder if anyone has tried connecting two of them together and find a use?....its like a single huge airscoop.
  18. i looked at the clock when i sat down and then when i finished...over 3 hours, i couldnt figure out where parts were supposed to go, pins would not snap into place....i made mistakes etc.
  19. it is interesting you say that....as i personally thought the B model of 8048 was superb and beter then the A, i remember reading an interview with the designer saying it was the most difficult model he had ever designed.
  20. last night i had one of the most bizarre building experinces of my Technic career. I was buidling the B model of 8067 and for some reason i could not get my head around it, it felt like the most convoluted and complex build ever. maybe i was tired but 292 parts took me over 3 hours to build!.....wtf???!! have you had a similiar experience?, was there a set that made you pull your hair our or give up? image 1 image 2
