  1. Saw this and had to share, looks fantastic in White!!....its probably easier to make this in White as the nesscary panels are cheap and readily available, those uber rare long Yellow panels are too expensive now.
  2. Looks like this new Chima set has part # 32009 in Olive Green:
  3. ...never seen this beam design before?
  4. pretty big news here for MOCers!....part # 57519 is now...or soon will be avialable in BLUE!! 4 of them are coming in Ninjago set # 70731...as seen in this video, skip to 5:50: could this part be used in the upcoming crawler crane?...42042?
  5. I spent several hours on Ebay yesterday looking through used lots, parts for sale or lots that were mislabeled etc. As a result of my hunt i managed to dig up 7 of them :-) I wish these connectors were'nt so bloody hard to find or sooo expensive, i saw some Ebay guy selling one of them for €7.50!! So if you look you might just find them.......
  6. only the first editions of the nitro menace came with this connector in lime green, uf any has this part in lime green and is willing to sell please let me know: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=32557&colorID=34&in=A
  7. I hope so....i hope we get more sets using these Yellow panels to stop the speculators and price gougers!
  8. WTF?....i have seen two Ebay webstore have these panels (brand new) listed for sale at €59.99 and €39.99 (for the #5 + #6 Yellow panel). Another store had them for €17.99 for the 5+6 panels....WHY are these panels soooo expensive?? https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=64681&colorID=3&in=A https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=64393&colorID=3&in=A Its making it very hard for people who want to build old Technic sets long sold out buy buying in the parts...sucks!
  9. My only issue is the White panels/parts have limited reuseability....White is not a very common colour in Technic. Agreed.
  10. For playability i would choose 8043...for the building experince 8110. The Unimog has an amazing parts selection that can be reused moreson then the parts for 8043. If you can afford it....get both, if not....8043 (imo).
  11. I recently built the A and B model of this set....its only 200 parts and limited functionality but i like the colour scheme, i personally think the B model is better. Any thoughts on this set?
  12. WOW!...i just came across this video on YT...i was already impressed by this Mini model....but then he showed a working mini engine with moving pistons...so i just had to share!! Is there building instructions for this?....he did a fantastic job!!
  13. JANG has some Slizer/Throwbot reviews, these were the early versions of what would become Bionicle, which would expand into Exo-Force, Chima and other themes that use alot of Bionicle parts. These sets were unique in that they featured Technic gears in colours unique to these sets. https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?catType=S&catString=36.385 I bought some Yellow gears recently so i can do a custom build of 8275 with all yellow gears.
  14. I just bought the 42035 mining truck this morning, can't wait to build the A + B....but i will stick with the A for placement on my Technic shelf.
  15. The metal hook from 8285/8258.....also the gearing/steering stuff from 8070 and those Racers models. In fact...i'd just like all those amazing Lego Racers car models to be released!
  16. Part #57518 is now available in Medium Dark Flesh: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=57518&colorID=150&in=A
  17. No....just make more new parts or create an entirely new Technic system.
  18. It is used to move the front blade up and down and side to side.
  19. ^ I personally think 8285 is a better set to have.
  20. JANGBRICKS has a very nice review of this 1992 Technic set, A and B model:
  21. Part #32449 is now available in Trans Light Blue: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=32449&colorID=15&in=A
  22. its very hard to find the fark blue parts...the set was limited to 20,000 and most of them were bought to be resold at hugely inflated prices....which is why you nevr see second hand sets, and as such you cant find parts in new or used condition, the closest colour would be blue...easily find those parts. its moreso the panels that are the problem, and finding the 1x11 beams in dark blue.
  23. Too expensive....most are around €400. I have most of the parts, just those long Yellow panels were the hardest to find, some crazy prices being asked on Ebay for them.
