Sharing session for our EB Special LEGO Themes forum
Capn Frank replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I was thinking of show casing my first minifigs from when I was a kid, which could include minifigs from town, castle, space, adventures, and pirates. -
Sharing session for our EB Special LEGO Themes forum
Capn Frank replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Not sure if its been asked in this topic, and I didn't see anything in the welcome topic. Is there a large merge topic to show off my variety of minifigs? Otherwise I was thought that I should post a topic in here or in the General Lego forum. Thanks. -
I'll move this to the Pirate MOCs Subforum. Great MOC by the way! It would be a great idea for the Pirates theme to include an exploration ship like this one. The catamaran is really well done too. There is a lot of good detail throughout the MOC. Phredit: Always!

Great response Basiliscus! Thank you. I have similar thoughts and views about BoBS, but you've articulated these views very well. -
Anyone know if this set is rare?I
Capn Frank replied to Trainmaster247's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I hope you have greater respect for your mom in real life, and according to our site guidelines, you need to use correct spelling and grammer. -
I hope that the your reason for joining EB is more than to get votes for your Idea Sets. I hope your mentality is 'I want people on EB to see my MOC and comment on it. If they like it, perhaps they'll support it on LEGO Ideas', rather than: 'I want Ideas support! If I post it on EB, perhaps more people will vote! See our Site Guidelines. The Subway car is very well done. I would like to see how PF would be able to fit in the MOC.

PICTORIAL REVIEW: 6274 Caribbean Clipper
Capn Frank replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Pirates
The original images are on Majhost, which is owned by Brickshelf. I am not sure if or when Majhost will be back online. We do have a another CC review here though. -
I added an image to your topic to hopefully increase participation. Not everyone knows what set number 10210 looks like.

Thank you everyone. Yes Captain Dee, I've been on EB so long, this is my third time being on staff. I'm in a much more permanent situation in life, so yous guys are stuck with me for a while.

I've merged your two topics that have the same name. I am not sure why you did not use the edit feature, then select 'use full editor' on your original post to attach the image. I've deleted your attached image and added it to my miscellaneous Flickr album. As a new member, you don't get a lot of space to attach files. Your profiles shows a Google mail account, which means you have a Picasaweb account. You can load all of your images there and then post here on Eurobricks.

I believe this topic would fit better under the current Army Index in the Master Index, where it has now been added. Thanks.

LEGO Train 12 Volts has created a very accurate model of the Vossloh G1700. Head on over to the G1700 Cargo topic in the Lego Train Tech Forum and check it out!

Two things: 1. - You don't need to double post after 15 minutes. Just edit your previous post. I have merged your two posts. 2. - You need to load your images to another site like Picasaweb, Photobucket, Flickr, or Brickshelf, then link them to your post. Check out "How can I upload pictures of my creations to the forums?" in Eurobricks' FAQ. Please see Site Guidelines for images sizes: If you aren't able to get an image linked to this topic soon, it will get locked.

In order to comply with our rules on bumping old topics please note: Before you start a discussion in a new thread, please check this Long Standing Topics Index to see if a topic applies to what you want to share! A lot of pirate wisdom has already been piled up - help enlarge it by sharing your thoughts in the proper thread! If there is another Long Standing Topic that had been missed, feel free to post a link to that topic here. Remember, if you have something relevant to say then feel free to post in one of these topics, but if it's more than a few months old please make sure it's good, and if it's been a few years it better be really good! If you've got an answer to a question (such as "Does anyone have pictures of the alternate model?) then by all means post! What you shouldn't do is ask questions to the original poster; he/she may not even visit EB any more. Where to buy Pirate LEGO? I deleted your duplicate topic and kept the one with tags. If you want to add or edit tags to existing topics, Select Edit on your first post of the topic. Then select use full editor if you need to. It should be pretty self explanatory after that. -

I've got plenty of cannons. It's the brown wheels and brown carriages that I've gotten and cost me a lot.

Shooting and Non-Shooting Cannons...What you Have!?
Capn Frank replied to VintageLegoEra's topic in LEGO Pirates
I voted with what my brother and I had growing up (1993 to 1998 in the U.S.). We didn't even know about shooting cannons until around 2003 when I got my hands on a bunch nearly complete sets from the first waves. I have shooters and disabled shooters from these bricks I obtained later. Why aren't disabled shooters on the poll? Disabled shooters, and non-shooters are different. -
Pictorial Review - 6285 Black Seas Barracuda
Capn Frank replied to Lorentzen's topic in LEGO Pirates
Eldiano, I also have not ever built the alternate model. I have built a MOD of this set with updated bricks etc., but I worked very hard to keep the fine lines of the BSB the same as the original. Captain Braunsfeld, I suggest that you read through the link that covers topic bumping more clearly. I apologize for the confusion Eldiano. I do believe that I have found a way to remove the confusion of posting in old topics soon among the Pirate Staff and to the other members of EB. -
Eldiano, thank you for posting about your desire to have this set. I do own the set, and I do recommend it to others if they somehow find a used one. The bricks are kind of sparse, but the the bricks it does come with are really nice, I love the figs, and the base plates are by far my favorite made by TLG. Captain Braunsfeld, I suggest that you read through the link that covers topic bumping more clearly. I apologize for the confusion Eldiano. I do believe that I have found a way to remove the confusion of posting in old topics soon among the Pirate Staff and to the other members of EB, please stay tuned.

Shooting and Non-Shooting Cannons...What you Have!?
Capn Frank replied to VintageLegoEra's topic in LEGO Pirates
As far as I am aware, the U.S. cannons where shooters in the first wave in 1989. After that year, all of the other cannons were non-shooters, I am not certain if the 1991 and 1992 waves came with shooters in the U.S. I do own some nearly complete first wave sets that came with shooter cannons. All of the other sets I got in 1993 and later were non-shooters. -
Join me in welcoming Kolonialbeamter another new Pirate Regulator. The pirate forum is now operating with a full complement of crew. He's going to be joining Mr. Phes, Capt. Stabbin, Captain Braunsfeld, and myself as Pirate Staff.
