  1. Aanchir, probably with the arrive of LDD 4.2.5 you will update the reference files in this thread. About the new decorations, I'd like if you will create two files: the firts, as usual, with all the decorations; the second with only those decorations that are not directly accessible with the Extended Mode.
  2. I'm not using MLCAD related softwares in this period, but surely your creation is very useful! I would be very pleased if you decide to share it. Unfortunately it is for windows only (is it a .net application?), so mac and linux users will not be able to take advantage of your work. I hope he will provide a public link accessible to everybody, and not send it in this way. PS: it is not a good idea to share "in clear" your email. Spam bots could read your address and overrun you with tons of spam!
  3. No, post here ONLY the post upgraded from LDD3 to LDD4. Any other update have to be posted in the "Official LEGO Sets made in LDD" Thread.
  4. Penguinz's sets appears to be already made in LDD4, according to the index. So it seems he did right.
  5. I'm thinking the reason why we have those strangely coloured bricks in LDD mode is that soon we will see an update of available bricks in PaB. So don't worry, wait some days to see if the LDD mode will provide available bricks only.
  6. The new solution is very good, the problem is that I was looking for for a replacement of the missing 3149c01: looking at that pieces, I thought these could be good for that, but assembling the hinge I noticed I can't use it because it is too thick.
  7. Hi, welcome in this topic! In order for your insertion to be regular, you should: - share the lxf file - post a preview image of the set (a screenshot without background, not bigger than 512x512 pixels, without blank borders) You can see other regular posts as reference, or read again the rules in the firs post of the topic. Did you use the last version of LDD to built the set? In the last version there are many new pieces, perhaps you could even find the right head.
  8. Thanks Superkalle. Damn... I saw pieces 98285 and 98286, and I thought are good for replacing the missing 3149c01. Unfortunately the assembly is very different, it is 3 plates hight instead than 2.
  9. Thanks for this detailed report. I add a link to the recent brick requests. Click. Very happy about the introduction on some pieces (2507 will allow me to post a set I've built some time ago), but unfortunately the great part of pieces I desired is missing. Among those, I hoped in the return of the panel 4737 (available in LDD3), the introduction of the hinge plate 3149c01 and the introduction of a great number of old raised baseplates. What about the addition of a greater number of decorations?
  10. I updated my list in post #2.
  11. Only the author can post his/her creations in order to be indexed here. You could try to contact him and ask if he want his creation will be posted here.
  12. Merged the topic with other darphboubou's topics related to a part request.
  13. You should send him a Private message, telling him to inform the indexer (me ) he will not update his file delegating you to do the work. Note that you need to have 10 posts in this forum to use private messages. As your present posts are 9, I think this will not be a problem!
  14. The next step is almost ready! Be patient, PirateDave is on Holiday!
  15. I could merge the topics, but at this point I fear a little confusion! I try to guess: is this the set?
  16. I'm speaking of the digital one, obviously! After all this is the "LDD and other digital tools" section! The linked page allow you to find the ElementID of the piece using the DesignID you can find in the instruction booklet. Then you have to write the ElementID in the SearchBox of LDD to find the brick. Anyway, the piece could not exists in LDD. If that happens, you could try to replace it with a custom solution. Some custom solutions has been created by other users and posted in this topic. Is it all clear?
  17. You can use the procedure that Sjuip has described you here. Another little thing: when you post the image, you should crop it in order to remove blank stripes. You should post only the "interesting part" of the image. Also, remember that in this forum the maximum size allowed for an image is 800x600 (your images are slightly bigger in width).
  18. In order to fine rotate a brick, you need a pivot. That means you have to connect the brick to another brick, and then use the rotation tool, that allow you to set the exact rotation angle. The arrows keys are thought for the initial placement only.
  19. Index updated with informations reported until here.

  21. @Aanchir I've wake up your latent colour power? About brown: Referring to peeron color chart "217 Brown" is the same as BL Brown and Peeron OldBrown, so that's the colour I used. Isn't it the right colour? About Green: I cheched it with the usual peeron chart, but clearly I made a mistake. I'll fix it after the index update. About pin: Probably I've seen the other one with a different number, then I thought it was an almost identical replacement. That's strange anyway, because I used almost always the search function to add the bricks to the build.
  22. Bad Sjuip!, I had to make again my statistics file now! So I take advance of this situation inserting my last work: 6085 - Black Monarchs Castle Theme: Castle > Black Knights LDD Version: 4.2.5 [Brickset] [Peeron] [BrickLink] Download (LDD 4.2.5): - Direct link HERE. - More on my BrickShelf Gallery HERE. - Visual Gallery HERE. - Get the ZipPacks from HERE. Known Inaccuracies: - Door Frame 2x6x7 (4071) replaced with Door Frame 2x6x6 (6235) and 2x6 Brick - Dark Gray Door 1 x 6 x 7 Barred (4611) replace with Door for Frame 2x6x6 (6234) - unflexible string 58558 (placed at side) replace original string - Technic pin bush 1/2 with teeth (4265a) has been replaced with Smooth type (32123) - I used minifig head with hollow stud (3626b) instead than old type (3626a) - Many decorations missing, replaced if possible. Extra: A version of the lxf file where all minifigs are lined up outside the castle.
  23. @All The index will be updated today, in few hours. If you have some post that need to be fixed, that's a good moment! @Masta' Blasta' I tried to make some improvement in your file. I'll post the file here later (it isn't on this computer). Anyway there are too many missing pieces to consider the model as complete. The problem is related to the ldd palette and not your fault, obviously. Anyway you could try to replace missing pieces with similar ones or with some custom solution. EDIT: Here is the file, look at it!
  24. That's a good solution. I remember I used a similar solution in the past without the use of an external software... I tried now, but without success! What's the software you use? PS: I think the quality could be much better than then 4x AA: AA algorithms are made to be used realtime, while downsampling algorithms of a good photo edit software are more complex and provide a better quality.
  25. Hi! If you want to update an existing file, you first have to contact its author. See the rules in the first page for more informations!
