  2. I agree. Join the efforts for a single project would be a great idea and could bring to make both the projects better.
  3. What about add something like a radio button menu for different material profile? Default profile will use the standard materials, while bublible profile will be accessible as an option (adding a warning about rendering time). This solution could satisfy all the tastes and could allow to add more and customized profiles in the future (including the one on which msx80 is working).
  4. I mean, what's the problem you encountered when you tried to share the file?
  5. Bright Red. But maybe for a rendering another colour could be a better choice, maybe even transparent. EDIT: Oops, I misunderstood. I thought you was asking about the LDD starting colour, in order to replace any unknown colour with the default one.
  6. Bricksafe or brickshelf should be perfectly suitable for this. What was the problem, exactly?
  7. Frankly, I don't think that any of the present generation of video card is really suitable for VR. Even the 980 or the Fury. I don't know if you tested a 1080p display for VR, but in the DK2, for example, you can even see subpixels. Not pixels, subpixels! A decent resolution for VR will be 4k, at least. But even at 2k or QHD resolution, present video cards have a hard time. Maybe a SLI or Crossfire, at least. Remember that GPU are on the same node, the 28nm, by four years. Soon will be introduced the new 16-14 nm processes that will bring a huge leap for video card. In short, if you are thinking about assembling a PC for virtual reality, it is better to wait a bit. And don't forget the R7 360, it is a good mid-range video card at a low price. NOTE: the Geforce 950 is a less powerful version of the 960. As the 950 has been released jet, it is possible that the price is even higher than the price of the 960. Obviously in this case the 960 is a better choice. Video card driver are a complex matter, no one was able to create good drivers without problems on a large variety of hardware configurations. Nvidia for example releases two times drivers that phisically burned their video cards and Nvidia drivers was the greater cause of crash on Linux. What I want to say is not that Nvidia Drivers are bad (but, surely, Nvidia releases bad drivers ) or the AMD video ones are better. I want to say that all video card drivers can have problems, and AMD drivers are not bad than Nvidia ones (especially in the last years). Unfortunately the market is distorted because of this kind of false convictions. Personally, I had more problems with Nvidia drivers than with AMD ones. But this is a single case and it is not good for statistics.
  8. This is probably due to the GPU, not the CPU. And in Skylake the GPU has been significantly improved. Not all Intel graphics are at the same level. Anyway the GPU of the AMD APU is usually better (not for computing power only). Certainly. But a good AMD APU based PC is semi.decent, I think. Remember that very powerful GPU have only a little advantage against a mid-range GPU, LDD don't scale efficiently to take advantage of hight-end hardare. . The GF 750 is a good mid range video card and was a good purchase, but now the 950 is far better in a similar price range. There is the Radeon R7 360 that is very good too in that range (I don't agree that Radeon have a bad driver support. Absolutely... see Nvidia video cards common problems in the last period).
  9. Only a remark. The 750 TI is 1st generation Maxwell, that is very limited if compared with 2nd generation (the 2nd generation brought a huge change, and a decent support to DX12). Probably the best choice in that price range is the new 950, much powerful and with Maxwell 2.0 architecture (but probably a little more expensive). Anyway a new PC with a 150-200$ dedicated graphics card is not so suitable with low budget. With a low budget, I will not underestimate a good and cheap AMD APU. Note that LDD is not so "hungry" of GPU, and the integrated of a good APU would be enough for the most of the cases. Otherwise the new integrated graphics in the Skylake Intel CPU is not so bad, and could be a decent (but a bit more expensive) alternative. It is necessary to wait the release of the new i3 for a low budget PC.
  10. The signature of the example is very simple, a flat image without trasparency effect. You simply have to create an image with transparent background and paste it on the main image. Try, for example, using this Classic Space logo.
  11. "watermark" is the correct term. You can apply that manually (using an image editing software) or automatically (with a software that have a ready-made watermark function). Could you provide an example of what effect do you exactly want to reproduce?
  12. Package updated. The FireGestures version has been improved: The script retrieve all the items in the list instead then those in the page only ("plus" version only). A confirm lightbox added when data is copied in the clipboard (both standard and plus version). Code cleaned from extra comments (standard version). The script for GreaseMonkey is the ever the one attached in the post #8.
  13. Package updated. Added brand new script for FireGestures (adapted from the original script from GreaseMonkey).
  14. That sounds new to me. Anyway, looking at the LDRAW website, the LDRAW software was an old DOS software. In the LDRAW All in One Installer itself the old LDRAW software is not includer, only the parts library is there. So I think that is not wrong to say that today LDRAW is a parts library.
  15. The link to download the access runtime necessary to run LDD Manager is in the first post of this topic. Otherwise you need to buy a license of a MS Office suite containing Access.
  16. You should specify the software you are using, at least Fix the title of the topic too, adding this information.
  17. The Intel 4500MHD (that I suppose is the video card of your notebook) only supports OpenGL 2.0. Maybe with some (extremely slow) software emulation layer...

Known Inaccuracies: - Decoration on jester head and torso replaced with something suitable - Jester's hat not perfectly coloured: the right pompom is read instead than white - Yellow cheese slope 54200 replaced with 50746 - Yellow slope 15672 replaced with 92946 Comments: A little set I recently bought on a LEGO Store, and I think it deserve to be added to this topic!

  21. You could add it as "remark", but it is not possible to add new tags because bricklink will not understand them. Anyway there is a "wanted list" tag that store the list ID (from the dropdown menu of the upper-right panel created by the script). You can use it to manage wanted lists, saving different lists with different IDs (but if you import that lists in bricklink, these lists have to already exist among yours). Besides it is easy to batch replace number with names, but the bricklink importer obviously will not understand them (so it will be for your personal cataloguing). PS: unfortunately the script lost the ability to append lists when I fixed a problem some time ago (the function used by the script is considered dangerous and is not supported anymore), so you have to manually join the lists in a single one once exported. About the quantity, I only knew the "MINQTY" tag. Do you know if bricklink supports the "QTY" tag, or it is only supported by Brickstock? (pardon, I don't know Brickstock at all!).
  22. Maybe the issue is due to the changes recently happened in bricklink. You should wait that the developer will fix the web application. If that don't happens, you could try to contact him with private messages (you have to reach 10 messages to unlock PMs).
  23. With the changes on Bricklink website, the script failed to work again. So I fixed it (again), so that it works, now. I tested it with Firefox 39. Changes: it works! ^____^ The new script remove one of the limits of the old one: colours are not hardcoded anymore, now the script retrieve the colour code from the page (now possible in the new bricklink). the firefox extension works again, now without need of restarting the browser (code manually taken from "scriptify" addon). The fixed script: script-fixed.zip External link with the complete package: click.
  24. I think that this is the point. My opinion is that this topic, in the present moment, have not much sense. As MOC have to be posted in the related theme sections, an index topic in the digital section can be useful only if: - the index is up to date. - it contains not the MOCs, but reports that users can write here to help the Indexer to gather digital buildings all around the forum. In short, I think that an index topic for MOCs is still useful, but we need a willing user that will maintain the index.
  25. Hi apie, and welcome in the LDD Official Sets topic. Your post is very good but the image is irregular: Render are not allowed (you have to post a simple screenshot from LDD, but yuo can provide it as an extra, with a text link) and the image is not cropped (you have to completely remove the borders around the subject). Take a look at other regular posts as example.
