So if I get it right, all of those buildings are ment to connect back to back to make whole 360. Good to hear it (and see it) and I apreciate that it fits nicely together. And also, the big mystery in Daily Prophet 2nd flor with that spider web is finally solved. But this means that we cant expect any new sets since there are no connection pin holes on sides. So Gringots at best and that will be it. And I think that Gringots will be playset. Hope it will fit somehow...

Really? ;) I wouldnt dare to guess like that :) I for myself have a shelve where I store my sets (those that i have intact) but in near future I am planning to have a small table (like 3x2m or so to make some city diorama or layout ;)

Sooo... New DA set leak. I have to say that I have mixed feelings like many other. First of all, i like it as a street and possible nice addition to my modular street. I am not big fannof open backs but in this case its kinda ok. I like those interiors and looking forward for designers video and high res. pics. Colours are just stunning especially lilac masonry bricks on WWW. I like that small alley entrance to the Knockturn alley. BUT those opened backs kinda limits any future ad ons to make more depth in this street. As many of you already stated, i am kinda surprised about minifigs lineup. Its definitelly small number on 400 USD set. I would rather see 20 figs. But maybe TLC counts on CMF2 series to fill the population in DA even though there is not any specific DA fig. What i dislike the most arw those stickers. Set like this deserves prints. And a lot of them. All of those signs and other decorations should be printed. Only salvation in this matter could be bezter price like 350 USD. Even then I really hope for some exclusive prints and utensils etc. Overall there is a big potencial for another add ons like Owl shop, Leaky Cauldron, Gringots and Borkin and Burkes. Hope that they will come next year.

I dont get it why they released it 3 yrs after last set... It will be useless for those without previous sets. This is a big flaw.

Hope not. I sold both of my NC sets last yer to make more space on shelf for modulars and rumored DG. If NC gardens is true, I will regret it for my entire life :/

Thats the greatest think on whole Lego thing. You can decide what to buy, and what not :) Yours I guess. :) I dont like these speculation (no offense) and "guaranted" experienced guesses what is Lego for (specific set to be exact). Who r u to tell me what I should do with my set, (figuratively speaking) and what is the set for? Thats up to Lego consumer what he/she will do. Isnt it? For example I know many afols who plays even with modulars from now and then, making vids or just doing crazy things ... :D

Really? Who told you that? :) Check once again official Lego description for every modular. One thing is that many AFOLS used it either in their cities layout or as a display model. Thats true. But that doesnt means that you cant play with it or even worse that its not intended to be played with. :) But DA is not Gringots. Thats a big misunderstanding of the lore. Gringots are just one of many buildings / businesses IN DA. That doesnet automatically mean that without Gringots its not DA. Anyway as many stated before including me, we can be 99% sure that Gringots will be released either as a standalone set (hopefully with a white dragon) or as a part of DA. And If you buy this set for 400 USD, I bet that you will buy its add on (like Gringots, Leaky Cauldron and maybe some other businesses) for lets say 300 USD next year. And if you want to wait till you'll be sure that Gringots actually be released, you can wait a year and then buy it alltogehter. :)

Thats interesting point of view. I dont think that closed backs means less or even no interior. As i said above, check modulars, they are super highly detaile inside out, on 25x25 cm footprint. I thionk that those shops will be obviously smaller, like 2 max 3 floors high. So I think that from 5400+ pcs u can make both back walls as well as interior details. Anyway, we will see in few moments :)

Definitelly not. If Gringots will be standalone set, it would be released probably during next years summer or september.

Totally agree. And since TLC tend to cumulate multiple seasons in one set, I guess that Gringots could include that white dragon as well. I can picture it as add on to the DA as a stand alone buliding which will fit DA if you make both sides of it like i said above (split in half and make both sides to form an real alley. Then there should be at least one vault, maybe two (Harry's and Lestrange's). :) On contrary, I think there is potential to make it split into at least two sets - DA and Gringots. anyway Gringots is not mentioned in that leaked description. And closed backs will work once you split it into half to form both sides of Alley. Then you can also more easily add it to modular city and form it as "hidden street". This could be the right way how to make those different series of Lego sets work together as Ninjago city for instance.
