    Me too :) There were rumors that this set should include 16 minifigs, and one of them should be Princess of Ninjago. What we know so far - it will include Lloyd, Garmadon with helmet, Dareth (brown ninja), Shark army guy "pufferfish"...and rest will be probably civilian + 1-2 extra ninjas...

    So the new ad on to the Ninjago city set will have 3 500 + pieces..its not bad for 229 USD :)

    Its 32x48 footprint (counted it) :) And yep u 're right, it connects to the side of NC where commic book store is. So that confirms its portraited from behind. I am eager to see more detailed pictures and what functions or interiors will be there. Hope at least for 2-3 normal apartments, and some surprise with minifigs...possibly Princess of NC :)

    But we already get "chinese" style Junk in Ninjago movie line, and As I recall British ships are not popular to create as set...They will rather do a ship which can represent specific movie (like Black Pearl, QAR, Silent Mary...)...

    It will have baseplate for sure, I am just wondering hoy large / how many of them :) The main ground should be same (plate layers and trans light blue tiles, possibly some beach), but the rest is a mystery. Dont hope for "many" boats. There shoould be one building taht is high as builds on NC, I expect some continuation on that walkway/pawement in second floor...really curious. When we can expect some images..? spring?Early summer?

    It will have the same depth as NC, now we know why they left there those pins on both sides... Not only it fits modular line, but also it serves as preparation for next portion of NC... Hope for 32x32 baseplate and for that scyspraper building with mayor and her desk on the top :)

    :D you will need to have at least 3x baseplate 32x32 to acomodate it and even then there wont be much space left for some build. So I guess that it wont fit Destiny´s Bounty. Maybe we will get a small version of it but in movie DB was outside the main dock. So there will be rather 2-3 smaller ships such as we saw at the very beginning of the movie "Good morning Ninjago..."

    Previous box was rather tall, but this one seems to be more wide, so perhaps it wont be tall as NC 2017 so possibly larger footprint... I hope for 32 x 32 because I cant fit larger model into my small layout :)

    IF they want to create more space for designer to talk about himself, why they dont create "bibliography video" or "introducin´designer video" ? Designers videos was always about sets themselves, but these new vids are focused mainly on designers. Why?

    These new vids misses the main reason why the should be created - the building.. I liked Jaimie´s vids more because he always showed us the build and explain something most interesting. This is not that case, pitty. :/ P.S. Yep in Cafe Corner there is that big "Hotel" sign, but all building is rather empty without anything (furniture, rooms, etc.)

    I am very curious too what the new D2C set brings... It wll be extension to current NC for sure, but...will it stands on the same 32x32 footprint? (Probably yes), so docks on this small footprint will not be aimed for Destiny´s Bounty, as well as for Warehouse (it will be too big, in comparasion to the rest of the city). So maybe some market on the ground floor, and then "skyscraper", with the mayor´s desk and security guard. Then maybe some beach with some guys on it, and also - ships... Or maybe this time they will build it horizontally rather than vertically... What do you think?

    First images of Brick Bank that was shown back in late 2015 was the main impulse to collect modulars for me, and since that time I collect allready 8 of them. It was the BB which convinced me, and I never regret to pass away my LOTR collection. And regarding Downtown dinner, I have to see it on my own eyes and get my hands on it, but so far I really like it, and I consider it as the great beginning of next modular line. Howk :)

    a) This one is technically more furnished than PR, DO or even AS at some point. All three levels contains something - 1st: long bar, gumball machine, couches and tables, stools, Jukebox and kitchen area 2nd: boxing ring, punching bag, training area with weights and water dispenser, 3rd: recording studio, armchair, little bar, and that recording soundproof room. Also that skylight window do actually open which is new feature. So what did you mean by changing attitude about detailed interiors? :) b) DD is puted on a picture next to the AS and it fits nice. Actually better than CC next to DO or MS next to PC etc. You have right to not like what they did, but your arguments are plain. Or maybe you had unrealistic expectations.. as did I (I expect Police station or Museum or School). Or maybe you expect something "bigger" than AS in terms of references, easter eggs etc., or something like re-release of GG ... Lego always surprises...

    I take that car as a cherry on a top of perfect cake :) Car is really great and it adds a lot to this set. Some AFOLS thinks that these sets have to be directly for them, and only them - uniform "amercianish" style, three floor at least, and huge footprint as previous first 5 modulars had (excluding MS). Sorry for that but, this is not the Lego way and I am glad for that. They surprises me every year and they never dissapoint me or people I know. It means nothing I get it but I am not much into that hates around every set that doesnt exactly fit into eyes of some people. Firstly it was hate all around when first leak came out..FAKE/UGLY/Bla bla..then those people turned their minds and suddenly they "fall in love" even plan to mod it by buyng two copies..and now ..? Car, faces...is it hard to make your own interior details such as furniture etc? Is it hard to replace those faces? Its Lego ...isnt it? :) As i wrote..it shouldnt be about uniformity and blending...After all even in great USA there are building like this...similar. Lego Modulars arent depicting specific countries, they aare inspired by them, but thats it...

    I can say that :) Btw. AS was Aniversary set, twice as big, and I consider it as the end of something old, and this one as beginning of something new. Not true.. Some have European style for instance Pet Shop or Parisian restaurant, even AS or CC.. Uniformity is not the way .. you can find differetn buldings styles through almost every city... Its nice to have something different.
