  1. 7410 - Jungle River (Adventurers / Orient Expedition) Download MPD (OMR compliant) Known errors: none Done with LDCad 1.6 alpha 4
  2. Even if nobody makes full fledged building instructions a LDraw model would be a big help... Hint: maybe it would be the opportunity to try LDCad that would make strings and chains MUCH easier to create...
  3. Use 'Ctrl' key to dock bins again... Note that if you want you can lock them in place to prevent accidental undocking (Prefs->GUI->lock docked windows)
  4. Awesome module, especially for a first one! Not only the mechanisms are clever, but the aesthetic is very good too. Would be worth some building instructions ;) Now THE question: does it work fine with soccer balls too? I guess the waterfall counterweights would have to be tuned. Sorry, watched again the video, I thought it was Zamor spheres!
  5. 41092 - Stephanie's Pizzeria (Friends) Download MPD (OMR compliant) Known errors: none Done with LDCad 1.6 alpha 4
  6. ??? I think that the torso you used is the right one! Remember that Bricklink and LDraw numbering are different (for the best or for the worse...)
  7. If this can help... http://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.cgi?f=parts/3626cp8i.dat
  8. Sorry, just changed origin/orientation of the sword to better match other LDraw swords. You're too fast ;)
  9. I can answer on this one... this means that your model is too complex and/or your computer hardware is not powerful enough to provide real time rendering at this frame rate. You'll have to lower required frame rate, either in default settings (prefs->animation), or using setFPS meta, or using the animation panel. Note that you can still generate a high fps video (but not real time) using the export function (view ->editing views -> openGL animation export)
  10. You are welcome to join the LDraw parts creator crew ;) The torso seems indeed not available, but pattern can be created fairly easily with LDPatternCreator (https://sourceforge.net/projects/patterncreator/). The head (missing too) can also be done with the same tool, but since it's not flat, it's a bit more involved. If you need some help I suggest that you join LDraw forum (http://forums.ldraw.org/). Finally, the helmet is available as a not yet certified file here: http://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.cgi?s=6088
  11. You're probably right. Creation of connectivity and collision data surely needs a lot of work.
  12. Question is why? (it's LDraw based and LDraw library has a very good coverage of this kind of parts...)
  13. Note that I also modified the part (angle between stud and bar) to better fit LDD shape.
  14. 8851 - Excavator (Technic 1984) Download MPD (OMR compliant) Known errors: none. Done with LDCad 1.6 alpha 4 My first Technic set after dark ages...
  15. 3315 - Olivia’s House (Friends) Download MPD (OMR compliant) Known errors: No stickers Done with LDCad 1.6 alpha 4
  16. Hi nnndoh, Nice model, but the front section of the track (3x2340bc01) is not properly aligned with the rest of track: if you look at the engine, its wheels are not lying on the rails...
  17. 60101 - Airport Cargo Plane (City / Airport) Download MPD (OMR compliant) Known errors: Missing stickers Done with LDCad 1.6alpha4.
  18. "Yes, export options are LDraw, PNG, and POV-Ray"
  19. What about file format? possibility to export to LDraw?
  20. There is one existing pattern for the conical astromech head, albeit unofficial: http://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.cgi?f=parts/98100ps1.dat Otherwise, did you see any new shape not in LDraw?
  21. Well, technically the problem was not specifically the author field, but absence of any field. Adding a name line instead of author line works too.
  22. 3184 - Adventure Camper (Friends) Download MPD (OMR compliant) Known errors: No stickers Done with LDCad 1.6 alpha 4
  23. 3061 - City Park Cafe (Friends) Download MPD (OMR compliant) Known errors: No stickers Done with LDCad 1.6 alpha 4
  24. 8868 - Air Tech Claw Rig - Dump Truck (Technic 1992) Alternate model of 8868 set. Download MPD (OMR compliant) Known errors: none. Done with LDCad 1.6 alpha 4 Random notes... - Max's work on an old model (http://forums.ldraw.org/thread-21839.html) made me want to try an old studded Technic set. What better one than this model - with a pneumatic state machine! - Old building instructions were definitely not for the faint hearted - only 24 pages for this model! The average quality of the scan doesn't help... - Pneumatic tubing remains tedious... - Some angles in the skip are only (close) approximations - I think it actually relies on part flexibility.
  25. Impressive response time between Parts Tracker submit and xml update ;)
