  1. Thanks! I should have the parts soon...
  2. 42070 - 6x6 all terrain tow truck (Technic 2017) Download MPD (OMR compliant) Known errors: No stickers. Done with LDCad 1.6a
  3. Again, I see no problem if you convert the Friends/Elvesfigure shapes I made for LDraw! Part references please?
  4. 42069 - Extreme Adventure (Technic 2017) Download MPD (OMR compliant) Known errors: No stickers. Done with LDCad 1.6a
  5. https://studio.bricklink.com/v2/build/studio.page - Another Ldraw editor, with part snapping and collision detection. Maybe could fit your 0.1% OSX...
  6. Somehow the retro look of these screenshot fits well the theme ;)
  7. I agree that edu version has a great documentation (though even retail version help is not bad!). You can also find useful stuff here: http://ev3lessons.com
  8. - Added missing treads (x485c01.dat) - Added missing hinge pivot bars - Added string (could be improved with more path points) - Corrected arm geometry (I had to cheat a bit, triangle was not a perfect fit, because of model or parts approximations) Modifications done with LDCad. I haven't tried to properly restore LeoCAD groups. Modified LDraw file is here
  9. There is another issue, line 47 in your ldr file contains 1 4 0 -96 270 -1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 -1 3037.DAT.DAT.DAT instead of 1 4 0 -96 270 -1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 -1 3037.DAT so slope 2x4 below the crane doesn't appear in LDView or LDCad.
  10. Car Base 6 x 13 Name: u574.dat (official part)
  11. 17101 - Creative Toolbox - Frankie the cat (LEGO Boost) Download MPD (OMR compliant) Known errors: None. Done with LDCad 1.6 17101 - Creative Toolbox - Vernie (LEGO Boost) Download MPD (OMR compliant) Known errors: None. Done with LDCad 1.6
  12. 42068 - Airport Rescue Vehicle (Technic 2017) Download MPD (OMR compliant) Known errors: No stickers. Done with LDCad 1.6
  13. I had a quick look, parts placement seem quite good!
  14. Question is - is there still a LDD team?
  15. Indeed this part is not in LDraw library :(
  16. Boost set electronic parts LDraw models are now completed! You can get them on LDraw Parts Tracker. As there are numerous parts/subparts to grab, I suggest that you download and install the complete collection of unofficial parts from http://www.ldraw.org/library/tracker/ ("Download All Unofficial Files"). As far as I can tell, all parts in Boost set are now available in LDraw form.
  17. I am actively working on LDraw models of Boost parts! Already available on LDraw Parts Tracker: The electronics parts are on their way too, but not yet available on Parts Tracker:
  18. Use 3324dc01.dat or 313.dat + 314d.dat + 3324d.dat ...
  19. Looks like you got description wrong, height is 2.333 ;)
  20. Moreover, LeoCAD defaults to a zipped library, not directly usable by other programs (though I guess LDCad could be instructed to use it but I's rather change LeoCAD settigs to use a regular library!)
  21. Yes, but file looks OK there... But there are other problems: wheels do not sit properly in the support (they are two ldu too low) and rear wheels/supports are not properly plugged (1/2 stud offset)
  22. 309 looks good... but year brick is 3067pt2.dat. Building instructions at that time were not for the faint hearted ;) 335 could be improved: - brick with "transport" stencil pattern is 3010pt6.dat - turntable is 3404cc01.dat - Steering is 799.dat+800c01.dat (or 800c02.dat) - Chassis plate + steeting hole is 803.dat. The faked plate you used and cabin are placed one plate too high (collide with turntable and don't touch wheels.
  23. Ah - many problems... - the transformation matrix you used is not valid, line should look like 1 4 130 -70 -80 -1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 -1 313.dat - 593c01 is not an official part, you may need to add unofficial parts (available here http://www.ldraw.org/library/tracker/) to your library - 592c doesn't exist. the link I provided (http://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptscan.cgi?q=592c) shows many related parts, for example 592c06.dat But again this part is not official, you have to update your library. I played with your model... Here is a new version with corrected positions (some parts in front bucket, wheels and belts), brick with LEGO logo, forgotten exhaust and usage of transparent bricks without internal structure (the 1x6 is unofficial) And another one, with battery box, cable, and more "live" position! Not sure it opens correctly in LeoCAD (I made it with LDCad)
  24. That's the problem of old sets, available inventories are often imprecise (at best!)... What have inventory did you use as reference to build this set? Every inventory site try to use LEGO design number as part name, unfortunately many (especially for old parts) are not known so a name is forged, but there is no coordination between inventory website. So the cypress is known as FTCypH on Bricklink, and used to be known as 688 at LDraw or Peeron (3 digit design number are not used by LEGO and were used to identify such unknown referece parts) When the real LEGO design number is discovered later (like 3778 for this tree), LDraw renames forged part number to real one, so you used the right part (3778.dat). Unfortunately, other website don't have this policy, so inconsistencies remain :( The bricks at the tip of the bucket are sligthly misaligned (I too was a LeoCAD user for a long time, but LDCad is sooo much better.... Granted, it needs some learning, granted it is not open source but I believe that the important thing is that models and LDraw parts used ARE free stuff). The hinges are missing pivot part (313.dat) You should find LDraw parts for battery box and cables. Look at http://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.cgi?s=593c01 for battery box, and http://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptscan.cgi?q=592c for cable/plugs. I don't really see the problem? Instructions show two 2x3 bricks, two 2x2 plates, one 1x2 plate... Yeah, few of these ooold trees are available in LDraw...
  25. The best method to ensure nothing is lost or modified when you make major changes in your library is to embed unofficial parts in your mpd (once parts get official, they are guaranteed to receive no modifications that could break models). Several tools are able to do so, mainly MPDCenter and LDCad. With this method, you are also sure that everybody will be able to see your model, even if they haven't installed any unofficial part (though they need to have latest LDraw parts release!)
