    No, configurable shortkeys are not yet available. Roland is planning it for a future version. For now, a map of shortcuts is available here. Tutorials and documentations are here, look especially at basic editing/advanced editing. There are also a few .

    Just for the record... LDCad is a LDraw editor that does provide autoconnect!

    I had the same problem initially, but I'm happy I persevered: I'm now a complete fan of LDCad!

    Actually the older, shorter version (initially a Znap part) should have been called Axle 5.4! And yes, afaik length is related to shape (rounded or not)

    The result is indeed far from perfect, but also much better than anything I was ever able to achieve with the photogrammetry solutions I tried. What software do you used? (my 3D scanners: http://www.philohome.com/scan3dlaser/scan3dlaser.htm and http://www.philohome.com/scan3d/scan3d.htm).

    Are you sure that you are in nested mode editing (necessary to edit flex parts into model). Nested mode means that you edit submodels in the context of main model. You switch to nested mode in top right of screen.

    AFAIK I modeled all 1H 2015 Technic models and posted them in Eurobrick LDD/LDraw forum (they are all available here). 2nd half will take longer ;)

    Ins key does this. In a future version Roland promised a customizable keyboard/mouse shortcut setup... The top field in parts bin is not a search tool but a filter on current category, this explains the behaviour. If you want a real search tool, you must go at the very top level and select it (a minifig with a magnifier). I have this tool permanently affected to one of the 6 bin tabs. I guess there is something wrong in your configuration that prevents LDCad to remember configuration. On my machine, PS vs.GS is properly remembered, as is default LDraw folder (seems you have a problem with the latter too...).

    For parts that have no other reliationship this is the only method. But the selection menu offers a lot of very useful things, such as selection of same color parts, same shape parts, parts that belong to the same step, etc...

    Like Sariel I have a prototype BSC unit too - but I am probably too lazy to write a full review... One thing I'd like to add to Sariel words: BSC has much lower requirements on Android device than SBrick. It works with plain Bluetooth 2.1 and Android 4.0. Tested succesfully on my ageing Nexus-S phone.

    To make things clear - LDraw is NOT a software but a library of parts that can be used with many editors. Among them, SR3D builder or LDCad are pretty easy to use (OK, I may be biased!) and well suited for Technic. They avoid the endless frustration of LDD with "parts-that-should-assemble-together-but-do-not". See more details here.

    Yeah that's a function that never worked :( The solution is to create the text in an image and insert this image.
