  1. I'm just going to say it out loud - these look absolutely horrible. The heads look too big compared to the body, and generally just look awful. Why does Marge & Homer look stoned? As a Simpsons Fan I expected more than this, now I'm kinda mad that we miss out on a CMF series to get this garbage.
  2. The difference is that Mines of Moria has 6 beautiful figures, and a cool big fig. Boromir is much cooler and more iconic than Radagast (the best one in DGB), and overall the minifigs in that set holds a much higer quality than in DGB (The orcs have ears and hair!) Also the Mines of Moria set itself, even tough I think it's pretty subpar, still is an iconic piece of the trilogy. Obviously this can't be said about DGB yet, but even if it will be some iconic scenes there during the movie (I doubt it, since Azog will be fighting Gandalf) the set still looks ugly. A bland, uninspired grey wall.
  3. I think this is a pretty crappy set.. A pretty mediocre, old castle (with no added value of being iconic, might change after DoS) aswell as pretty crappy figures, two unfinished orcs, The 115th Gandalf the Grey, Azog (which looks like crap) and the Necromancer (which has nipples) Altough I do think that Radagast looks very good.. To finish off, I find this set overpriced.
  4. I assume she would look like she does in the LOTR game.
  5. LEGO doesn't care about fairness. They are a company, and thus care about sales. LEGO Star Wars and LEGO LOTR is at way different levels, Star Wars is probably the most succesful LEGO Theme there is, LOTR doesn't sell nearly as much. That's because Star Wars is much more targeted towards kids (more toys, clothing, cartoons) than LOTR. If LEGO LOTR is going bad I don't think it's that weird for them to remove it and just do The Hobbit for the last year of The Hobbit.
  6. Adults do. Even non-fanatic parents would start wondering why LEGO is making LEGO Devils (remember, in most people eyes LEGO is generally for kids between 4-10.
  7. There's way too many people that care way too much over things they don't have anything to do with. I mean, if people tought that Jabbas Palace looks like a Mosque http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2267062/Lego-accused-racism-Turkish-community-say-toy-offensive-based-mosque.html there's gonna be tons of people that's gonna start claiming that LEGO is satanic and is trying to sell satanic toys to children. Look, I get your Harry Potter argument, and that's true, but the Balrog is in a completely different league. The jackson Balrog is a very stereotypical portrayal of the devil. Huge. Red. With horns. That's enough to make normal people that hasn't heard about LOTR ask why LEGO is making LEGO Devils. I do wish that we'd get a LEGO Balrog, but I don't think we will.
  8. The cockpit uses a modern windshield, so it's most likely going to be a set.
  9. Oh thanks for the info! Then I guess we'll just have to wait until people get holds on the Hobbit Sets (which, should be in the next 2 weeks I guess?) I do think there's more sets coming, ATLEAST one more wave, until The Hobbit are finished atleast.
  10. So do we have ANY evidence that there will be further Lego LOTR sets other than pure speculation?
  11. So, do you guys think that it'd be wise to get the remaining sets from the first LOTR wave BEFORE I get the big Tower Of Orthanc? I'm currently missing Mines of Moria, Weathertop, Gandalf Arrives and Orc Forge..
  12. Thanks for the input everyone! I found Olivias House on Amazon for just under 50 british Pounds, so I got it! Partly because, it might vanish soon. Plus, she really likes dollhouses, so a Lego Dollhouse will be great! The Dolphin Cruiser was a close second, but that's a new set so it will not disappear soon. Plus, her birthday is in a mere 4 months..
  13. Yeah, thats probably what I want the most out of remaining sets.. Gonna pick it up on a sale since its pricey here in Europe. The Mines of Moria set looks bland, way too many stickers, the troll looks ugly.. Also its way overpriced here. Sure I miss the exclusive Boromir and Pippin but I'd rather bricklink them. The orcforge looks similarily crappy, and Im not interested in Gandalf arrives since I already got both minifigs.. Anyone that disagrees with me?
  14. I got two questions.. First, I've heard that they're ddiscontinuing the first wave of LOTR Lego. What set of those should I pickup before its too late? I got helms deep, urukhai army and shelob attack, what else in that wave is cool? I also need an idea for what friends set to get my girl for christmas. It needs to be awesome, so whats the best LEGO friends set out there? Shes already got the riding camp..
  15. This could be slightly off-topic, but I don't want to create a separate topic for it. I'm going to get a LEGO Friends set for my girl.. What's THE best one? She's already got the Riding Camp..
  16. I'm jelly! That's one I've been looking for for a christmas gift.. Hopefully it'll go up again..
  17. How much would one Uruk-Hai Army set and one Uruk-Hai Polybag + shipping to Sweden be?
  18. I'm hoping that the custom Simpsons Head isn't made in China.
  19. That looks awfully tiny for 80 bucks. Or are the exclusice minifigs driving up the price?
  20. I read a rumour about what sets are being discontinued, among them was the first wave of LOTR-sets and Orthanc, according to the one who posted the rumour.
  21. My plan was to get this like, 1 month from now as a Christmas Gift for myself. But I've heard that it's already discontinued, so should I get it as soon as possible?
  22. I just got the newest X-Wing. Amazing. I'm now thinking of getting the new TIE Fighter to go with it, but I'm hesitant since it's rather pricey here in Europe..
