That sound pretty illegal. At best I assume you could buy the set for a discount due to the damage (as in the whole set, like a 50 dollar set would go down to maybe 30-35 depending on damage)

For those who have seen it - does the movie have several musical numbers? I'm assuming so because of the construction workers dancing aswell as the quick shot of Lord Business dancing (?) in one TV Spot..

The LEGO Movie Sets News and Discussion
Risgrynsgrot replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I think that the police dropship looks a bit "small" for the pricetag. Just compare it to the spaceship, spaceship, SPACESHIP which is just like 15 bucks more yet 3 times as big. However I do believe that the details on the dropship aswell as the characters (Licensing for Batman?) jacks up the price.- 2,626 replies

Is it true that the movie is a musical? I'm thinking that there's a musical act at emmets work, when they're building, and I think that Lord Business is going to have one too..- 2,626 replies

I'm looking to get a set since I haven't bought any in a while.. Anyone have any opinions on these and what I should get? 75005 Rancor Pit: Looks awesome, mostly want it for the kick-megablocks Rancor, I don't own Jabbas Palace nor do I really intend on getting it 75019 AT-TE: Not that interested, but it looks like a fun build and I do have the rest of the new episode II sets Galaxy Squad Galactic Titan/Hive Crawler: I want one of these, don't know what one tough.. It's hard to choose!

LEGO parts made of Chinese plastic?
Risgrynsgrot replied to Henchmen4Hire's topic in General LEGO Discussion
You're wrong, there's a distinct difference in quality between europe-made minifigs and chinese-made. -
LEGO parts made of Chinese plastic?
Risgrynsgrot replied to Henchmen4Hire's topic in General LEGO Discussion
You can really notice the difference between CMFs and "regular" minifigs.. The CMFs just feel very cheap, the legs already feel old (no friction), awful lines, etc. I can deal with them being crap, since I only display them, but if LEGO ever go full China I'm definitively boycotting them. The reason we buy LEGO is for the quality! -

So anything on the pricing of the Sea Cow? I seriously hope it'll be 200 bucks. After all, Simpsons House is only 200 pieces and licensed to boot, and that's 200 bucks.- 2,626 replies

That's a really cool picture. And a really cool build! Do you have any clearer images? I'd like to see how you did that head, really interesting with the armors and swords and shields..!

CMF Series 9 Heroic Knight
Risgrynsgrot replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
That's why I only collect the CMFs for display, never for army building/playing. The plastic is just so bad. I hope LEGO never goes full China, because the CMFs are really subpar. I wouldn't even dare to think what would happen if a kid would play with the CMFs.. The plastic FEELS cheaper, and the legs/arms already feel "loose" and used.. -
It all depends on who is writing.. But yes, The Flash is almost always faster than Superman, then it differs on how much faster.. Sometimes he's just stupidly quick, I'm talking about several billion times faster than the speed of light, and can travel trough time, dimensions etc, Then it's the whole ridicolous thing called Speed Force, which lets The Flash do all kinds of crazy stuff (for example, Speed Steal, stealing the kinetic energy of others and turning them into statues, google it it's ridicolous) Also this: http://4thletter.net/2006/09/flash-fact-jla-89/

LEGO LotR - general discussion
Risgrynsgrot replied to General Magma's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I think the community here is a bit dramatic - whenever there's any bad news, its all gloomy, and as soon as there's even the tiniest bit of positive news, everyone starts praising about it and comes up with ideas for sets. I'm gonna wait a bit longer for more info before I make up my mind. It would be weird to discontinue the theme now, especially since it apparently has been selling well. -
I hated this part of the movie, but the MOC is great! You've really captured a good feeling of speed in your creation.

They aren't wrong, the colors was changed from pink to light brown. However it bothers me, too, since I've stopped watching Simpsons long ago (it went bad after season 10 imo)
