Zorro Posted October 3, 2008 Thanks beatnik, there are some really nice pics in here... The root beer garden, the Royal Train, the cities.... I would recommend to read this to everyone who loves train and/or citie MOCs!
legotrainfan Posted October 3, 2008 Thanks beatnik! I had to print the instructions for the two freight waggons immediately. But I have found out that the red panel 1x2x3 with hollow studs is not listed on peeron. I've just emailed TLC to ask if they have that panel in red nevertheless. I can't wait to build those two waggons!

beatnik Posted October 3, 2008 Thanks beatnik, there are some really nice pics in here...The root beer garden, the Royal Train, the cities.... I would recommend to read this to everyone who loves train and/or citie MOCs! It looks like it is available in the closed stud version (which in this model doesn't really matter) http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp...orID=5&in=S Hope this helps! legotrainfan Posted October 4, 2008 (edited) It looks like it is available in the closed stud version (which in this model doesn't really matter)http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp...orID=5&in=S Hope this helps! Thanks for that information. I just checked the bricklink sellers within the EU, and no one has new pieces or a quantity of used pieces higher than 11. But I'll see what TLC will say, whether they have that element in red or not. If not, I'll simply use another colour. Joebot Posted October 10, 2008 Thanks for the flashback to Brian Williams' Royal Train layout. I remember coming across that back in ye olde rec.toys.lego days, and being absolutely BLOWN AWAY by it. And it's not just the Lego sets ... the structure that he built to display the layout is pretty amazing in its own right. I've never seen anyone put that might effort and attention into the display case! Really nice issue overall.

Hinckley Posted October 10, 2008 Let's see what other week-old news I can post. Well, in my defense, I was in Seattle when this was released, bringing everyone news about the 10193. Of course, I could've done a search...

Holodoc Posted October 14, 2008 This issue is sweet! I love the road article! Same here. Although I have to admit it´s weird spending 400+ bricks on just one road"plate". True, they´re looking good, but some ways of building drive up the costs to insane levels.
