Hi everyone ! I'm opening this topic to show you some of my creations, which are small and/or not very technical and do not deserve a separate topic imho. I'll try to keep this first post updated, it will act as a summary with links to the different posts to make them easy to find. Feel free to comment, ask questions and give your opinion on this topic. Constructive advice and tips are always welcome :) I'll answer as soon as possible. Also, I'm french and my English can be messy sometimes, so if ever you read something I wrote that you don't understand, that's probably not you being tired ^^ Enjoy ! GBC module : "The Witch"
PG52 posted a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hi everybody, here is my new GBC module, using a particular "In basket" following and improving an idea of Platystick (a Techlug member) : the balls fall out of the basket by its side, no possibility of locking. The six-arms wheel system is already known for a long time. The chassis is optimized, the mechanics very simple : M-motor, 16t-20t, and on the one hand, worm gear-8t for the in-basket, on the other hand worm gear-24t for the 6-arms wheel. The module can be used in a classic GBC circuit just moving a flex axle (the same as the four on the 8285 front racks), then the balls are redirected to the end of the module using the ramp which isn't usend in the video :) -
As part of SeTechnic's 16th Contest, PG52 / PG5200 posted this great Lego Technic Fire Truck which has both Lego Pneumatics and Linear Actuator mechanisms. His (narrated in French) shows it in action. Read more about it on SeTechnic (in the original French and in this English translation). One can change the Google Translate "To" language to match your native language for better understanding.
