    MechWarrior Madcat and Mechbay

Hello One of my favourite games growing up was Mechwarrior, so my new found passion for Lego designing was always going to incorporate a mechwarrior design at some point. One of my favourite mechs was the Mad cat or Timberwolf, so that is what I tried to recreate in this Lego design. But like most things I design that I plan on building, it must be playable, it has to be something my 4 and 5 year old would love to play with(destroy), so I added the mechbay with lots of playable features, it has sliding doors, a fully functional sliding crane and hoist system as well a few minifigures to refit and repair the mech. I do intend to actually build this one once I finish my build of the Klingon bird of prey that I have shared on this forum. If you are interested, I have added this model to Lego ideas and it is currently in the support stage, so if you think it would make a great set for Lego to officially build then any support given would be greatly appreciated. Let me know what you think, any feedback would be great. New battlemechs

Right, long ago, I posted some Battlemechs on here from Battletech/Mechwarrior. While I stopped posting about mechs though, I didn’t stop making them for a while after. I figured it was about time I posted the rest. Enjoy! The Wolfhound. This one came around because I watched the Battletech cartoon. http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h310/Runamuckpictures/IMG_0349_zpskw5ni3al.jpg Not sure I’m entirely satisfied with the head, but it is a compromise between two different designs. I should probably just have stuck with one of them. The next ‘mech I built was another clan medium ‘mech: The Stormcrow. I’ve always liked fielding this one, and I like the design, so it was pretty obvious. http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h310/Runamuckpictures/IMG_0357_zpsyqzhph0o.jpg This one I’m pretty satisfied with looks-wise, but it turned out a little fragile. Stay tuned, there are still more ‘mechs to come.
  4. Greetings Fellow Sci-Fi Fans, I present to you my version of the Bushwacker Battlemech from the PC game Mechwarrior 4. It is fully posable. It has great balance, and its strong. It took 2 months to design, perfect and build. I was up every night until 4 AM. It is captured in a running and gunning pose. I will try to make better pictures in the future. Feedback is welcome. Features of the BSW-S2 variant: The S2 is a variant of the Bushwacker that makes the 'Mech more effective at short to medium ranges. The 'Mech carries an ER Large Laser to allow the 'Mech to engage an enemy at long ranges as it closes. The 'Mech carries an LB-X Autocannon/10 or a Rotary 5 unit with 6 barrels, which can fire both standard and cluster ammunition for long to medium range engagement capabilities. For close combat, the 'Mech has two SRM-4 short range missile launchers, making it a powerful unit at any range. For added defense, the S2 carries an Anti-Missile System. 5. What's up Eurobricks! Today I am gonna show you some of micro goodness I made. Let's start with the pics of random Battlemechs, generally inspired by Mad Cat/Timber Wolf. Bipedal Mechwarrior-style Mech by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Here I tried a number of color schemes and got really satisfied with the results. Weapons are general cannons and missile pods. Bipedal Mechwarrior-style Mech 2 Loadout 2 by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Now here's something different. I have changed the cockpit part and replaced cannons with lasers and missile pod with an artillery. Also cockpit features another laser. Bipedal Mechwarrior-style Mech 2 Loadout 3 by The Mugbearer, on Flickr This one has more classic weapon consoles with two miniguns. Shoulders feature a missile pod and something that should resemble a PPC in one of it's iterations. Cockpit has two machine guns. Bipedal Mechwarrior-style Mech 4 by The Mugbearer, on Flickr This one is something completely random with paired autocannons and a "hunch"-mounted machine gun. Next in line are two 'Mechs that are vaguely based on the UZL-3S "Uziel". Bipedal Mechwarrior-style Mech 5 by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Bipedal Mechwarrior-style Mech 7 by The Mugbearer, on Flickr It's up to you to tell me which one does represent the Uziel better. Now there's two MOCs that are very closely based on 'Mechs. Bipedal Mechwarrior-style Mech 1 by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Here's HBK-4G, aka Hunchback. Man, I remember playing this sturdy guy in MWO. Good times. Bipedal Mechwarrior-style Mech 6 by The Mugbearer, on Flickr And then there's a Vulture, that is known to Battletech fans as Mad Dog. Now onto models that were specifically made with certain 'Mechs in mind. Bipedal Mechwarrior-style Mech 3 - Atlas-style by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Ah. The iconic AS7-D, more widely known as Atlas. Based on this color scheme. Bipedal Mechwarrior-style Mech - Kinda Daishi by The Mugbearer, on Flickr And then there's Daishi/Dire Wolf. Based on this image. Maybe there will be more, I might also consider suggestions from you guys. Enjoy. :)

    MOC: BattleMechs

This MOC was produced by my brother, so for here on out I’ll let him speak. This MOC came to be because I was very fortunate last year, as I not only got MechWarrior 3, but also MechCommander and MechAssault, in what could be called a BattleTech hat trick. It got even worse(better?) when my copy of MechWarrior 4: Vengeance suddenly decided to work again. So here it is: Reactor…online. Sensors…online. Weapons…online. All systems nominal. The AS7-D Atlas, pride of the Inner Sphere, and 100 tons of heavy metal mayhem just waiting to be unleashed. The Atlas is famed for its skull-like head. The backside of the Atlas. I was a bit surprised at how much it looked like a face. I did give the model several points of articulation and most of them are somewhat in use in this picture. Any feedback is appreciated.
