The details in this build are fantastic. It's like you've really put yourself in the shoes of the guy living here to think about how his daily life would play out. :) I love the image editing as well. For a floating build like this, putting it against a sky rather than a real background is the perfect touch to make it feel more dynamic.

Hey All! I just wanted to share my latest MOC that I've finished, after over a year of tinkering on it. :) This is the Catapult mech from the Battletech/Mechwarrior Universe, specifically the model from the latest games such as Mechwarrior Online and Battletech the PC game. Its around a foot tall and consisting of 2200 pieces. I've also created free full instructions for it, which are available on my website for anyone whos curious about the details of the build. Thanks! :)

Oh very nice! I'm loving the curves on this design. The shape matches the function of the vehicle quite well. :)

I think anything generally goes! Each designer can make whatever choices they wish. :) I do know that many people would prefer moving wheels, but there didn't seem to be a way to replicate the source model's visuals without locking the wheels. Since I wanted this to be a display model, I personally thought that was a fair tradeoff.

Thanks so much for the compliments guys!

Excellent amount of detail in this scene, and I really appreciate the written lore that you've added to accompany it! Specifically, I enjoy the interior/exterior design approach on different sides, as well as the cute but awesome sci-fi chopper on the helipad!

hehe, great to see the Blacktron guys to get some time planetside! I image some nice R&R cruising around on that bike.

Nice, I enjoy the use of the Technic liftarms up top. Its also really fun how it appears you've designed it so that cargo easily snaps in. :)

Haha, glad you like the base! Once I got to the place where I realized I need a base for stability, I immediately decided that a hex base would be appropriate! As far as the mech choice, I personally just enjoy the design and thought it would be an interesting challenge to try to get all the curves of the model created with Lego pieces.

Hehe, great design on the wasps! And I love how the cargo containers have grab spots just for them. :)

Absolutely excellent work. Brilliant in its concept and execution. I really enjoyed taking the time to look carfully at each photo, as there are so many small details and mechanics to take in.
